24 months warranty from manufacturer (need to register product)
30000mAh capacity provides several full charges for my iPhone 5s
Dual inputs and outputs
Comes with a USB cable
HEAVY (but it's a battery, so it's understandable)
Only one Indicator light for power and capacity (it's confusing for me to know around what percentage juice is left even though the manual explains about the green and red lights)
No wall plug
So far, it's a keeper. I'll be taking the battery with me everywhere--except the gym.
After two weeks of use and only charging it the day of, this thing is a mini tank. I used only this for a week straight; connected my iPhone 7 Plus and my smartwatch every night and just after the seventh days the indicator turned red. The only flaw I notice when using this is the battery indicator is quite vague. Even though the indicator is red, there is still 0-30% left, but you can't tell exactly how much. It charges quite fast as well as the flashlight very bright wasn't expecting that.
I'm an engineer, specifically a human factors engineer. In my world the phrase "intuitively obvious" rules the day, meaning all controls should be easy and match human nature. Ex: Everyone in the world knows red light is bad(stop), and green is good.
But this battery pack does not use this obvious Indicator lighting scheme. Although RED is used for low power (0-30%), GREEN is used for partial power (30-70%), and WHITE is used for high (or full) power, and no special indicator is used to indicate full charge, so you never actually know if it is fully charged or not.
How this was decided, I have no idea, but it is confusing to both me and my wife(my wife in case you just thought I was an anal engineer being nitpicky), and for the same reason.
Red should be low charge (~0-30%), yellow should be middle charge(~30-70%), and green should be high charge(~70-90%), with solid bright green at full charge (~90-100%).
This is one of those irritating things that is easy to get right, but wasn't.
For better measure, get the one with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 only get this one if you are an IPhone user as it has the capability to charge via the IPhone cable. Manual said you can charge using both the lightning and micro usb ports but since it gets very hot when it charges, decided to just use either micro USB or lightning port separately.
Quality is solid and fantastic. A bit hefty in weight so do consider that when buying. There is a 16000mah version from AUKEY which is about half the weight of this one if you want to go lighter.
It would have been nicer if this had more USB ports, however I guess the design was made this way to ensure that it will not run hot when charging devices.
This is a great product, and I will buy this again should the time come it needs to be replaced.
Unit showed green light as being charged, but when trying to charge device it flashed red and would not charge the drive at all. I did notice a faint but distinct electronics "burn" odor emanating from the unit so that could be reason that it doesn't work now.
Returned to Amazon and I'm not sure at this point I'm going to replace it with same unit.
