For many years, I used that other type of brown protoboard with the copper pads that fall off when heated, didn't have feedthrough holes and would shatter during any attempt to trim it. This product is solves all that. The holes have feed hroughs and can stand the heat of soldering. The boards are easily trimmed by just scoring them with an x-acto saw and breaking them along the resulting line. The various sizes are great for matching to whatever uniquely sized item you are making. The case is handy to keep things organized also.

These 0.1" perfboard kits are all very confusing. If you look long enough on the internet you will see HUNDREDS of different versions and distributions of these generic boards, all of which don't really resonate with me for being a good deal.
Ideally I would just buy some bulk amount of the 7x9cm sized ones because that's the size I always find myself using but it looks like that isn't really an option anywhere.
The perfboards themselves are of average quality, with some of the holes being off-center from their plating.
The box they came in was quite misleading from the shown picture, it turned out to be VERY flimsy and the one I got had a crack in it and didn't stay closed properly.
I'm barely giving this product a 3/5 instead of 2/5 just because it is a somewhat better deal from the other perfboard kits out there.

Mounting holes are Very small

These are quality boards. good pads and through plating. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is that the mounting holes are VERY small.... probably for a 2-56 screw. I had to drill open the holes to accomodate a 4-40 screw and it leaves VERY little material on the outside edges.

They're decent protoboards. They're all small, so good for very simple projects. The only real issue I have is the mounting holes for standoffs are way too small on all but the largest board. You might be able to use M2 standoffs, but M2.5 or larger won't work.

The spacing is the standard 0.1" on the holes. Each hole is plated through so you can solder to both sides if you need/want to.

Nicely packed, useful case, good quality and a good selection of useful sizes with form factors similar to my Pi 3, Pi Zero, DragonBoard, Uno R3 etc. If I was being really critical it would have been nice to have mounting holes line up with some popular single board computers to allow direct stand-off connections, with aligned headers but they don't claim to do it so I can't mark them down for it. Excellent product that I would definitely purchase again.
