These fit well and seem to not need a real "break-in" period, at all!
I prefer an air cushion sole, but these are close enough for my daily mile walks!
Quality seems to be OK, but time will tell. (The strap versions I have been getting at Wal-Mart, stor brand, do not last very long)
These are usually popular with the Senior Citizen set and I definitely like/need them that way!
The good news: The Avia shoes appear to be well-made and attractive.
The bad news: The Avia shoes were much too small - remember, same size I have worn for years
The good news: I returned them to Amazon for a full refund without any hassle.
More good news: I ordered the same model of Avia Shoes one half size larger; they fit well and are VERY comfortable, look nice. but still a little bit smaller than my old shoes of one half size smaller.
I know that you are curious about this being the 4th pair I've purchased, so here goes: He loves these shoes so much that he now wears them more like a work shoe for outdoors, meaning some really hard wear on them. He wears them til they are ragged after they are no longer presentable to be worn in public. Please do not take this to mean that the shoes are not durable. My husband is very hard on shoes and is prone to wear them every day, all day no matter what the weather or terrain is like, and I have to beg him to change shoes. I've actually hidden them at times. You'd think that they are the only pair of shoes he owns, since they get so much wear, but remember, these have a rugged slip resistant sole,(Big Plus!), a comfortable fit and easy on and off for a man on the go. Great for walking and great for working.I should have ordered a second pair!

I bought these for my Son. He loves them. They are very comfortable and are helping to make his feet feel better because of years standing on cement at work.Published 8 days ago by Amazon Customer

I have worn Avia shoes for many years. I loved an older model (the A340MWS in 10-1/2 Medium) for a long time. I could not find anyone with that model anymore in my size. Read morePublished 5 months ago by Ralph DeSha
