5 out of 5 stars
We continue were we left off in Molly part Two with Abbie and Jax. We met these two great characters in Molly.
Do you believe in love /lust at first sight?
Ms. Lorraine has really done an awesome job with the characters in this series she has brought to light a few insecurities and trouble pasts and made these characters stronger.
Abbi is Ryan’s sister she has a weakness for bad boys who were great at breaking her bed but even better at breaking her heart. She was trying to break the cycle and date the nice guys but they left something to be desired. She has spent her whole adult life dealing with the aftermath of an event that happened to her as a teenager.
Jax is Molly’s employee but also good friend. He wants nothing more than to settle down with a woman he loves. He has grown up watching his parents fall more and more in love every day and all he wants is the same for him-self. Unfortunately for Jax his looks and parents money have meant that he attracts the wrong type of women who don’t take his commitment seriously.
This is a really short story and you need to read Molly part 1 and 2 in-order to follow along. I highly recommend this book/series.
Jax stays by Abbi’s side even when her parents turn up and say how wrong he is for her. Although the two have paste that they feel will affect how they feel about each other, they soon realise that it doesn’t affect their feelings.
Soon the time comes for Abbi to return to Uni and the only thing keeping them apart is distance, although Jax gets a surprise when he visits Abbi’s brother Ryan and has a note and a box from Abbi’s mother.
Abbi sets her own plan in place to try to get the happily ever after with Jax that she wants.
There is a note in the beginning of the book to read the first book Molly, I enjoyed the book and will be going to read Molly to find out more about the other characters.
Jax is angry that he isn't at the party to celebrate with his friends. He doesn't want anymore trouble with Abbi. So it's a surprise when Ryan starts pounding on his door.
Abbi is in the hospital and she's asking for him.
An unexpected loss brings them back together and gives Abbi the strength to confront her mother.
Truths of their pasts are revealed and healing has begun. Now they just need to find away to make their relationship last. This is hard when they live so far apart ...or is it?
After watching those two flounder and wanting to pull my hair out in frustration with them, it was nice to see them get their crap together. After hearing Abbi's story about her past, I could understand why she wanted to keep her relationship away from her mother.
I was looking forward to reading this book and it didn't disappoint. I have no problems recommending it.
Jax in my opinion is the perfect man. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
