About the Author
Jeannine Vegh, M.A., has her degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Somatic Psychology, from John F. Kennedy University in Orinda, California. She received her undergraduate degree from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. She has recently moved to Maryland where she joins her partner and his teenage son. Ms. Vegh is preparing to take the state exam for the L.C.M.F.T. Her work experience includes providing Family Partnership support to Head Start Families and being a Child Welfare Worker for the Department of Social Services in Oakland, California. She operates a website for survivors of domestic violence, Artemis, which has been online for over four years. Ms. Vegh continues to write fiction and pursue her career as a therapist. She believes that the strengths of being a survivor of abuse for the past 20 years gives her the ability to help others rebuild and become empowered by their circumstances.
