About the Author
A manga artist for over ten years, Watase's debut came in 1989 at the age of 18 when her short story PAJAMA DE OJAMA (An Intrusion in Pajamas) appeared in the monthly Shôjo Comic manga anthology. Since then she has written and drawn some 50 volumes worth of different short stories and long-running manga series, including the fantastically popular FUSHIGI YÛGI, also available in English from VIZ. Her works have provided the basis for two television series, an OVA series, anime soundtrack CDs, and a string of novels.

The rest of the book is a collection of her short stories. At first, I thought, "I wanted more Absolute Boyfriend!!" But once I gave the other stories a chance, I really loved them. I have been a fan of Yuu Watase for years now (Fushigi Yugi, Alice 19th, Imadoki, etc.) For a while, I had made it my mission to read every series Watase put out. As an English-speaking audience, we do not normally have access to the short stories, unless we subscribe to Shoujo Beat, and even then, we may not get everything that an author releases in Japan. So, how else were we going to get these short stories? Once I began to think of it in that perspective, I became very happy with volume 6. I may have never been able to actually read everything she has published if they had not put the stories in this book.
I like it because it's romantic
Why couldn't Yuu Watase make more series to this book? What happened to Ricko`s parents? Is happy marriage kind of like absolute boyfriend ? Is I won't let you been a star like absolute boyfriend? Can you tell me witch book is like absolute boyfriend ?
