Dr. Andrew Johnson is Professor of Literacy Instruction and Distinguished Faculty Scholar at Minnesota State University, Mankato. He is a former 2nd-grade teacher who has been working in higher education for 29 years. Dr. Johnson is the author of 16 books and over 50 book chapters and academic articles related to literacy, learning, and the human condition.
