I fully understood the techniques and styles that were represented in the exhibition that Boime had taught me. Also when I first purchased the book, many of the painting techniques I incorporated into my style of painting with success. The book was not only one of information of the earlier techniques of the Ecole De Beaux Arts and independent academies, but it actually was a lesson in producing art and a learning process that could be used in one's production and techniques.
