Introducing the latest Ultra Slim TipTop Leather Acase iPad Air Case
Acase Multifunction TipTop iPad Air Leather Case's exterior protects the iPad Air from bumps and drops, and the inner microfiber protects the Apple iPad Air from any scratches and residues smearing on the screen.
This perfect design gives the iPad Air a snug fit without adding any bulk (only adds 6 mm of total thickness), which is a great match with the slender design of the iPad Air. You can put the iPad Air into any other bag or case without having to worry about not fitting. The TipTop design allows for six varied viewing angles for optimum ease of use. It has a small plastic lip or ridge that sits at the bottom of the iPad Air and slips firmly into the 5 grooves to hold the iPad Air in place more securely. You can still access all of the features of iPad Air.

Top Customer Reviews
Inside of the case you have a tough polycarbonate molded case that your iPad quickly snaps into. All of the ports, jacks and controls are cutout in the case and they are easy to use and get to. The edge of the plastic case has an extended edge that I show in my video. It fits into the small groves in the inner cover to allow you to use the case as a nice viewing stand.
I really like that the cover also has built in magnets that put your iPad to sleep and wake it up when the cover is opened or closed. They also help to hold the cover closed and protect the screen when you are carrying it. The front lip of the cover has a little tab that extends out from the cover to allow you to easily open the case. This is a professional looking case that is very functional and lightweight. The quality of this case is very nice and I rated it at 5 stars.
I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation and I promised to provide a fair and honest review.
Unlike the cases that protect only the front, this one offers full protection for the entire device, front & back & all the way around. The case incorporates a magnetic lid that when closed, firmly grips the device. The leather material covers both sides of the iPad Air, offering excellent protection from the elements. The iPad itself fits snugly into a black plastic frame. While the frame is designed of strong plastic, in my mind it appears a little on the cheap side. When the case is closed, the front is covered in its entirety by leather. On the other hand, the back is only partially covered with leather, the outer circumference being made of plastic. This gives the case a cheap look when viewed from the back side.
As with cases made by Apple, this one enables you to make various adjustments so that you can view the screen and type at various different angles. As with Apple cases, the iPad will turn on and off when the case is opened and closed.
All in all, this is a very nice case, but to me there are better ones out there. In addition, I feel that the price charged for the case is too high. There are less expensive ones available that look as good as this one and provide the same level of protection.
In all fairness, I should state that the vendor of this product provided me with a free sample of this case for review purposes. Despite this fact, I still feel that there are better cases available for your iPad Air, so I'm definitely giving my honest opinion of this product. I rate it at 3.5 to 4 stars.
It has five detents to hold the iPad Air in several landscape oriented degrees of tilt plus it can be flipped to type on the tablet. In addition, while not mentioned in the blurb, the case does work in the portrait orientation but only at one setting - 90 degrees.
The advantages of this case are:
-Lower cost than other cases and clearly better quality of materials and workmanship than you'd expect at this price point.
-Solid detents which hold the tablet well at all angles although the shallowest angle is the least well held. I'd not expect the iPad to be held securely at the more shallow angles in, for example, airplane turbulence, but the consequences of it slipping from the detent are trivial too.
-Well-made cuts for easy access to iPad controls. Unlike the Apple brand case, the buttons aren't shielded but instead the case is cut away to expose these controls. While one may argue that this affords slightly less protection, it also means much better access to these buttons. I don't see the exposure as meaningful as far as lessened protection. The depth of the case affords good protection as it stands.
- All I/O well exposed and precise. For example the stereo speakers at the base of the iPad are completely out in the open which yields better sound (as it were) than other cases which have the speaker grills either partly covered or with a cover nearby. The cuts for the camera and other I/O are equally well placed.
-The case is itself light so it doesn't add appreciable mass to the iPad Air.
-Auto shutoff works unlike some other iPad Air cases.
The downside of this case is:
-The case resists folding back onto itself as you'd wish it to for using the iPad as a portrait oriented handheld e-reader. This creates a bit of an effort on the part of the user when using the iPad in this manner such as reading in bed or on a couch. After some vigorous `breaking in' the case did fold back easier than when new but it never easily folds flat in one's hand for use as a handheld e-book reader. A bit deeper of a cut along the fold would alleviate this problem.
Overall a heck of a bargain on an elegantly made case.
