My thoughts and impressions of ACCIDENTAL SUBMISSION (Bk 1):
Right from the start, Claire Thompson thrusts you straight into the mindset of a man hellbent on destroying a work colleague. Her only sin - she got the promotion he felt was owed him. His misogynistic tendencies are warped, filled with awful games. His desperation calls for desperate measures and he will go to great lengths to discredit and humiliate Elizabeth showing her no mercy.
Fortunately, the very person she is “sold” to will become so much more and in ways than she ever could have imagined. He will pique her curiosity, teach her to let go of her control she holds on to tightly and hopefully find the submissive he see’s inside of her. Despite frustrations and struggles they will both learn how exciting their journey becomes.
Accidental Submission is Book 1 - Claire gives you a beautifully and sexually descriptive and detailed content. Honest, refreshing and very knowledgable. Safe and Consensual for those characters that truly care, practice and teach! There will be moments of darkness and frustrations, yet always handled with care. Accidental Submission is Elizabeth’s submissive awakening. Take that journey with her and Cole, you will find yourself turning these pages wanting to see where he takes her.
I liked this book because it did not hem/haw around getting started. The book got right to the point and we knew who was doing what to who right off.
Think that was end? Nope, it was just getting interesting.
I found the start so of humorous with Cole, Elizabeth and "John" LOL The way she was slung back and forth between them as a part of revenge her co-worker was doing to her. .
Cole was a good man and used his BDSM experience to take care of Elizabeth and give her a chance to leave.
The revenge was not really told as to what happened to co worker but you can use your imagination and I see it as hilarious.
Ms. Thompson always keeps just enough of book not told so it keeps you wanting to read on. The book flowed smoothly and easy to follow. No boring spots in this one
I do love her books and will continue to read them.
So if you like light BDSM sex, humor and payback you will like to read this book
I voluntary read this ARC for my review
Elizabeth and Cole - 4.5 Stars
I purchased this book a couple of months ago, but with all the other books that I had on my TBR pile, it got pushed down until I came across it a couple of days ago. I LOVED the cover from the beginning, but the storyline itself was more than I expected and I am sooo glad that I bought this book. I don't want to give a lot of spoilers, but I thought Ms. Thompson did a very good job of bringing these characters to life. I also felt like I learned a little bit more about the D/s life and I liked the way Cole explained it to Elizabeth. I do wish there was a bit more closure with the slimey Gary. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the book and the subsequent bonus scene that was offered. Definitely worth the purchase!

Gary was really angry that Elizabeth got the job over him and he would have to report to her.Read more
