Cute, but alas no lasting scent

I received this as a Christmas gift and was really looking forward to having my car smell like a diner at the breakfast rush. And it did, for about 5 minutes. The scent was perfect for those 5 minutes; really just like frying bacon, not pseudo bacon. I still have it hanging in my car to ward off vegan hitchhikers, but it's too bad the scent didn't last.

"Bacon" air freshener? more like crappy old cardboard shaped like bacon.

Just got this in the mail. I was all excited to hang this in my truck as a funny joke to make it smell like bacon. But when I opened it and smelled it it didn't even come close to smelling like bacon. Instead, I got a whiff of terrible old cardboard. I ended up throwing it away because even though just having bacon hanging from my rear-view mirror would be okay, the old cardboard smell was really that bad.

THIS GETS THE BIG ZERO.

If you really want your car or truck to smell like bacon, get some hickory chips from a hardware store and fill up a sandwich bag. Poke a few holes in it, and then put it under your seat. BAM...works way better.

This smells fairly terrible and vaguely like bacon gone bad, so naturally I gave it to my teenage son. I believe re-gifted it to someone he doesn't particularly care for. I think I'll probably buy it for him again next Christmas.

I love bacon and bacon things and was excited for this product. I opened it and it smelled like dog food. I do not recommend if you actually wanted to use it as an air freshener, but maybe for a novelty item to keep in the bag.

Listen to me carefully. I love bacon. You love bacon. We all love bacon. We love the way it tastes. We love the way it looks. We love the way it smells.

This? This does not smell like bacon. This doesn't even smell like bacon's distant cousin twice removed.

This smells like rancid five-day-old grease left to fester in the bottom of a pan you used to cook cheap hamburgers. It smells like the kind of smell that propels you off your couch even though the new season of Supernatural just started because you are convinced that something has died and is busy rotting somewhere in the depths of your house.

Run. It's too late for us, but you can still save yourself.

There should really be a 0 stars for this item. It's SO easy to fake the smell of bacon. I can't believe they botched it up so badly.

The foul stench of this thing smells like rancid bacon grease mixed with canned biscuit dough. It doesn't smell like good or smoky like bacon at all.
