I have a more expensive precision gauge for work on my motorcycle but it didn't have the range I needed. I figures this would be an inexpensive solution.
I have to tell you I am surprised that such a small inexpensive gauge is so accurate. It had identical results as my precision analog gauge in all tests I did.
The only issue I have is that it takes a bit of getting used to in order to get a proper seal with this digital gauge. If you hold it off angle from the valve stem even by only a degree or two you will not get a proper seal. Like I said though, you just need to do it a few times to get used to it. Other than that it's outstanding!
Small, lite, accurate reading to 1/10 of a PSI, and it powers on and off by itself.
In fact, I may just have to order a few more of these so I have one for every vehicle.
Pros: Tiny, Light Weight, Accurate, Inexpensive
Cons: As other reviewers said, you need to put this onto the valve straight on, and press hard. Otherwise, air leaks out. I over-inflate the tires, and then use this to let some air out until I get to the correct pressure.
Overall: I have used this for over three months, on all of our families cars. I have never fully deflated a tire with this, and it has never taken me more than three tries on a valve to get it to seal. For the price I think it is worth it, and I would definitively buy it again.
The main problem that spurred me to give this review is the fact that I tried to use it yesterday after several months without touching it and got a low battery indicator. I haven't even had it for a year, and only used it a few times! From what I remember, the packaging (long thrown-away) says the battery is not user-replaceable.
I'd rather get something a bit more expensive but that will last.

Picked this up to put in a kit to do repairs while out and about, and I love just about everything about it. It's very small, accurate, and automatic shutoff means minimal maintenance. The downside however lies with the 99 PSI limit. This was fine until I upgraded to a bike with 700c wheels which require around 115 PSI (yes, with Schrader valves), so it looks like I'm going to have to upgrade.

Stopped working very quickly. Bought this and didn't abuse. Placed in center console for use. This product didn't last more than a month.Published 4 months ago by Kevin Schaefer
