I got this to use with my bicycle, which requires anywhere from 35-80psi.
I have a more expensive precision gauge for work on my motorcycle but it didn't have the range I needed. I figures this would be an inexpensive solution.

I have to tell you I am surprised that such a small inexpensive gauge is so accurate. It had identical results as my precision analog gauge in all tests I did.
The only issue I have is that it takes a bit of getting used to in order to get a proper seal with this digital gauge. If you hold it off angle from the valve stem even by only a degree or two you will not get a proper seal. Like I said though, you just need to do it a few times to get used to it. Other than that it's outstanding!
Small, lite, accurate reading to 1/10 of a PSI, and it powers on and off by itself.

In fact, I may just have to order a few more of these so I have one for every vehicle.

I have a small compressor at home, and it has a built in pressure gauge that I used to believe. I got this, and realized that the pressure gauge in it was off by up to 5 PSI, which makes a huge difference.

Pros: Tiny, Light Weight, Accurate, Inexpensive

Cons: As other reviewers said, you need to put this onto the valve straight on, and press hard. Otherwise, air leaks out. I over-inflate the tires, and then use this to let some air out until I get to the correct pressure.

Overall: I have used this for over three months, on all of our families cars. I have never fully deflated a tire with this, and it has never taken me more than three tries on a valve to get it to seal. For the price I think it is worth it, and I would definitively buy it again.

I got this at a brick-and-mortar store for pretty much this price. I was surprised at how accurate it was considering the price. It does require some coordination to get it sealed properly, but it's not that difficult.

The main problem that spurred me to give this review is the fact that I tried to use it yesterday after several months without touching it and got a low battery indicator. I haven't even had it for a year, and only used it a few times! From what I remember, the packaging (long thrown-away) says the battery is not user-replaceable.

I'd rather get something a bit more expensive but that will last.

Like the title says, works well as advertised. Cheap price and quite small, it's got a special spot in my glove compartment. The digital meter thing is easy to read in daylight. Also, it'll take a bit of practice but to keep air from flowing out the tire, it's gotta be put on a certain way--straight so it can be accurate. Hope you found this review helpful!

This thing has seen better days since i bought it around a year ago. it was five dollars, and i knew it would only last around two weeks, but that's all i cared about. i've sat on it, burned it, threw it with my keys on the keychain, and it just won't die after i have lived with it for that long. i don't know what kind of magic dust they put on these things, but it does what it says it does, and it is surprisingly accurate (within .5 LB) so do yourself a favor, don't buy a $15 tire gauge at pep boys. order this and it'll treat you right.

EDIT 07/09/2013: I hadn't actually tried this gauge on tires that would go above 99PSI but after changing a tire on my bike I tried it out and it read pretty accurately above 100 PSI! I don't know if perhaps the model has been updated or accuracy isn't as strongly guaranteed past 99, but it works for me! I'll put this in the seat bag kit for sure!

--- Original Review ---
Picked this up to put in a kit to do repairs while out and about, and I love just about everything about it. It's very small, accurate, and automatic shutoff means minimal maintenance. The downside however lies with the 99 PSI limit. This was fine until I upgraded to a bike with 700c wheels which require around 115 PSI (yes, with Schrader valves), so it looks like I'm going to have to upgrade.

I used that gauge before since I am part of a club in Egypt that goes to the Sahara offroading on the dunes almost every weekend during the winter. Attached to my keychain with very precise and quick measurement, it's the best, most handy and the one I use most frequently of my 4 other gauges in my 4x4. After about 5 years I just had to buy another one! I feel this is one of the greatest values on Amazon ever for a dune offroader (you know deserts require extreme cautiousness when it come to tire inflation level down in some situations to 5 psi and up to 40 in the same trip if the marble spikes are too risk to tread on with normally inflated tires)
