I bought this for my husband (who is very hard to buy for because he has everything). I hoped he might like it OK. I was surprised when he was actually thrilled with it! He played around with it quite a bit, and is convinced it will get someone out of a pinch in the future because there is literally a tool for whatever comes up. He keeps it in the glovebox of his truck, because the size is convenient and the sturdiness will handle multiple emergency situations. When I was watching him try out each tool, I was curious about the scissors and wanted to see for myself. They worked just like any pair of scissors and cut through a file folder like it was thin paper. This would make a great Father's Day item for kids to give their Dad that would be a "winner".

I went with this over a mini-multitool (with pliers) because I tend to find myself needing a wine-opener more often than pliers. On that end, I don't know how swiss-army knives or other competitors stake up, but this one's wine opener can easier bend. It doesn't have a fulcrum that dedicated wine openers have, but it isn't a dedicated wine opener! I just bent it back and now pull it straight out without issue.

The usual tools (screw driver, file, bottle opener) are obviously fine. The scissors work well for paper, but do have some trouble with thicker material (not sure how it compares to other multitools). The knife is very sharp and the saw cut surprisingly thick libs in no time.

If I didn't want the wine-opener I'd probably just go with a pliers-multitool, but for this: everything works, nice design (even got a compliment on how cool it looks), is inexpensive, and not bulky.

This product is very poorly made. The blades are held very loosely. On my example the phillips screwdriver swings open with no effort. All blades have no retention detents and are loose and shaky when opened. This product is dangerous to use. Do not buy.

They are slightly bent and will not hinge out of carrier space easily. I will not return it. For the price it is what it is. The blades are sharp, the steel acceptable.
