Ace - you think he is the most confident man on earth and get everything he wants and needs. He is openly gay but only came out 1 year ago. He is the most handsome and sexiest actor in Hollywood. He drives a Lamborghini. He is everything and perfect in and out. He's like what wet dreams are made of! Then you get Dylan and Ace lost his mind, becauses Dylan is the ONE he wants but couldn't get.
I loved how Ace lost his self control whenever Dylan was on the scene. I loved how perfectly made for each other they were. It was mind blowing. This story is everyone's teenage dream come true. Especially Dylan's dream.
It was so cute how they "stalked" each other, how HOT they were for each other. And when the table have turned and Dylan was the confident and Ace the one who wasn't as much as he thought, it was perfect.
I loved them and how their relationship evolved. They were lovely with hot as hell scenes. Damn, that Syn's scene was scorching hot! I can't wrap my head around it, it was so so amazing!
Oooh, I liked this story so much more than I expected to. I'm totally and completely in love with Ace and Dylan. Dylan with his hippy dippy family. Ace with his...totally the opposite. They're wonderful together. And I love how infatuated they were with one another before they met. They were both definitely fanboys and they each have those tiny little moments of "pinch me, is this real?" that made them totally awesome.
I'll admit, I was totally shocked by the cliffhanger ending. I had no idea that there was even a second book, so when the audio ended, I just sat there with my mouth hanging open ready to scream...NO! But then I got over it and immediately got online and bought book #2 in audio.
So, yeah...this is a good one.
Although I had a really annoying little niggle about the audiobook. The pov's change without any notice. That's fine if you're reading a book and can see the break on the page, but listening to the audio, it took me a good half the book before I began to listen specifically for these changes and the clues in the dialogue signaling them. It might have worked if the narrator used significantly different voices for the two main characters, but he didn't. So I spent too much time in the audiobook trying to keep track of who the "I" was in the narration. It was more than a little distracting.
But even with that, the book was great. I definitely recommend it.

Am irritated that the authors did not state was cliffhanger ending & was realising this as reached about 85% & things actually started to happen. The club incident in Vegas seemed OTT to me, along with the cliff hanger. The banter wasn't always especially funny & other than initial attraction via looks (& Dylan having worshiped Ace's career) there didn't seem to be much holding the two together. There were also cameos from Frank's previous tales, which were fine, but to be honest, little seemed to actually happen & it would have been far better to have cut some of the waste & put both books (presuming there are going to be 2) into one.
Having disliked Frank's 'Finley' & found the last installment of Logan & Tate's tale disappointing, am beginning to think this author is not for me. Am in two minds as to whether I'll buy & read part 2, as who knows whether that'll be the end of it (& when exactly it's out).
Not doing an in-depth review, but of course Ace and Dylan trying to keep their fledgling relationship under wraps is the main focus of the story. This is NOT a standalone, there IS a cliffie...it's also light, fluffy, romantic and scorching hot in places (especially at the private club...), I had a helluva good time reading it!! Logan (from Try) makes a guest appearance as Ace's lawyer, and just a teeny niggle... I could've done without the silly chapter titles though, rather immature I thought.
Loved this book more than the amount of stars on Hollywood Boulevard.... more please.
Holy Sh*t i loved this book!
I’m a big fan of Ella’s Temptation and Sunset Cove series. I adore her books and all her sexy men. I have to admit that i havent read any of Brooke’s L.A. Liaisons series, but i will for sure be looking those up very soon after this because Aced was brilliant.
This book is hot and steamy the plot is wonderful, but the characters man i love these guys. Dylan and Ace have had secret crushes on each other unknowingly, but when they do meet the chemistry is off the charts sexy. There is just this wonderful slow build and burn between these awesome characters that it almost drove me crazy!
The scene in the secret club was crazy sexy.
The writing style between these authors gelled so well, but that ending man what a cliffhanger i cannot wait to read more of Ace and Dylan's story.
This is a quite good story, destroyed by the authors desire to cater for commercialism.
I fell in love with Dylan and ace, the connection between these two men was so intense and beautiful you could feel it on every page.
It was hot fun and intense I would recommend aced to friends and family.
Thank you Ella and Brooke for sharing ace and Dylan with us I can't wait to see what's next.
The only reason I gave it three stars is because the story just stops so abruptly, and there is no conclusion for them.
