This Net book freezes up and can be a pain, but you can fix it with CPU paste If you have time and patience to take the case apart and apply the paste to the heat sink inside the case. The Net book comes with bloat ware.Stuff you wont need but if your handy with a PC you can uninstall what you don't need so it can run as fast as it needs to.I opened the Net book case and applied Arctic Silver to the CPU and video card.It comes with two small pieces of silicone tape for the heat sink installed but that does little to help with heat. You have to leave the tape on the heat sink and just cut a small space in the middle of the tape.Do not remove the whole tape.Just make room in the middle so you can later on apply some Arctic silver paste in the middle of the tape.Squeeze enough to make a small ball.Too much is not good. You have to eyeball it and put just enough on both. The tape and paste combined help keep the heat inside under control. It doesn't over heat any more or freeze up.The motherboard temp should be between 72-80 degrees max.Unless your doing something on the PC then it shouldn't go over 81 max. After you apply the Arctic Silver CPU paste. The Net book gets warm but does't overheat or freeze anymore, and It runs very fast now after this small fix since not enough heat was being taken away by the small CPU tape that comes with the PC inside.

I wanted a netbook with good battery life for email and word processing while traveling. While it's not built to handle any graphic-heavy games, it has a great webcam for Skyping and it handles my entire music and movie collection for portable entertainment during travel. It does get a little warm if sitting on your lap, so I recommend keeping it on a hard surface during use. Great CineCrystal screen has all the resolution I need and the product is lightweight and sleek. This little machine has held up well. In fact, I've gotten one for each of my family members for Christmas. Love it!

I've had an Acer Aspire One 725-0802 netbook for about 7 months now. I use it just about every day for both work and pleasure, and I have to say I absolutely adore this little computer. It's extremely lightweight, has good battery life, and simply functions reliably. It's easy to use and does what I need it to do. The only problem I've ever had with it is that it won't shut off, so I've had to do the (bad, I know) holding-down-the-button trick to force it to turn itself off. It doesn't seem to be any worse for it, so whatever. Anyway, I love it and would heartily recommend it to anyone who just wants a little netbook to write on and go online.

This model, AO725-0802, was on sale at Walmart a couple months ago for only $260 so I picked one up to use as my music machine and travel laptop. I love it and definitely recommend it. Netbooks are the way to go. Haven't had a problem with it yet, and I find myself using it more than my Macbook because it's lighter and the battery lasts longer. Great for email, shopping online, watching movies and playing music. Only thing I wish it had was Bluetooth, but I got a cheap adapter that's been working great.

Great value, very nimble, 2GB memory can be expanded to 8GB. Small, light weight, good battery life. I can use it out of the office with the Office 2010 Starter for basic word processing and to generate invoices or create a spread sheet.

Perfect for moving around the house and taking with you. Good display, very sharp. The keyboard has a great feel. Having Windows 7 is such a plus, much better then Windows 8 on this device.
