The shipping was fine and the laptop has performed fine for the past 2 weeks.
The Windows activation key for the pre-installed Windows 10 OS is not provided on a sticker or piece of paper that ships with this laptop. Instead, the activation key is embedded in the BIOS (motherboard firmware) and when the BIOS is updated the key is lost (the Acer Aspire E15-573G ships with a BIOS that needs to be updated). I updated the BIOS without first getting the activation key and now my activation key is gone. This means that when I re-install Windows from a recovery disc, I'll have to call Microsoft to get a key over the phone; if I'm lucky, they wont think I'm trying to pirate their software and they'll give it to me. I have had mixed results with this in the past. If Microsoft doesn't give you a key over the phone then you'll have to buy another OS license. If you buy this laptop you should immediately get the activation key *before* updating the BIOS (you can figure out how to get the key from a quick internet search).
3/5 instead of 5/5 stars because Amazon, Acer and The TuTu Train are not letting people know about this before they buy the laptop.
