There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
I needed a monitor that could work with my MacBook and I was on a budget. I looked at lot of monitors but as with most budget monitors they has one thing missing or other.
I wanted few things in my monitor
1- Display port, it gives exception result in font quality. HDMI works well when you have a 4k monitor.
2- Adjustable stand (it in an awesome completely practical stand)
3- Speaker (Speakers aren't really great and this is what you expect from a 2watt speaker)
I had almost purchased view sonic monitor and then this monitor popped up. I liked the fact that it has 360' stand and it really works.
It was really a difficult decision to buy this monitor since it doesn't have a lot of reviews and it just launched but so far it working great and my eyes are thanking me after a long hours of coding.
Also, I am getting full 75hz on my mac!
-The menu buttons are at the back side which makes it really difficult to guess which button does what
-There are two power buttons! please, who ever came up with this weird design deserves a pay cut! MAKE SURE TO TURN ON BOTH POWER BUTTONS, otherwise you will struggle like me.
-Also, the round button is for navigation, learned the hard way
OVERALL the only downside is the menu button but thankfully you wont be using them every day.
I am happy with the purchase and for money I paid I think it is a good buy!
I was actually quite surprised by this because my understanding of the advertisements for these monitors seemed to suggest that the image area went fully to the edge of the frame. So I decided to do a little looking around in the internet to determine whether I was actually having the kind of problem that would prompt the return of another monitor to Amazon. My preliminary finding is that a number of thin bezel monitors are built this way, and there have been complaints that other Acer models have this display peculiarity, as well as the least one LG model.
At the very least, the advertising for these monitors seems, at best, mildly deceptive, and at worst, intentionally so. I suppose that I am most surprised at the fact that there appears to be so little discussion about this issue in any of the video and electronics forums that I visit, since it was, at least to me, the first thing that drew my attention when I booted up.
I recognize that it is possible that I have drawn the wrong conclusion about this, and that there actually is a problem with the monitor that I received. I am interested in what other owners of this monitor have to say, and so I am reading the reviews here very carefully. If I find that I have been in error, I will be very happy to revise this review, as the monitor otherwise seems to be functioning as expected.
I would be very happy to be wrong.
After a good bit of tuning, and I am now very satisfied with the picture quality. The IPS panel has outstanding viewing angles that gives a consistent color throughout the viewing area.
I was worried about only 1080p on a 27" screen. It's fine, but my next monitor will be at least 2K.
Brightness is good for this price range, but it's nothing too exciting. My next monitor will be 350 nits minimum.
The settings in the OSD that made the biggest difference for me were:
color temperature: Cool (warm gave it that brownish look)
Super Sharpness: OFF (made fonts look terrible)
Here are the rest of my relevant settings:
Black Boost: 5
Blue Light: Off
Super Sharpness: Off
Color Temp: Cool
Refresh rate num: Off
I supposed that Amazon has shipped the defective product which was returned by another customer.
I don't trust Acer brand anymore.
I recommend don't by this monitor.

L'écran en soit est très bien. J'adore le fait de pouvoir l'ajuster en hauteur et basculer du mode paysage au mode portrait; parfait pour lire des rapports et naviguer sur le web.
Attention, il n'y a pas de fil HDMI inclus.
It has been working perfectly in the month I had it.
