These monitors are pretty low quality (washed out blacks and blown out whites), so there's really no way to recover the color saturation quality due to how cheapy they are.

I looked for help online that would tell me how to correct the color, but I couldn't find anything.

If you're just wanting a monitor for the sake of having a monitor, this definitely works. However, if you do any sort of design, development, graphic design or any other task that needs color quality, I wouldn't recommend this monitor.

I gave it 2 stars, because I don't think this monitor is meant to be great, but it's definitely priced out of its category. I'd recommend a $99.00 price tag for a monitor like this.

Was not really noticeable at first, but I saw what looked to be a buffer corruption running down the right hand side of the screen of my task bar, next to my icons. Spent the night swapping out cables and computers to find it was the DMI port on the monitor causing the issue. Got the RMA, will be getting a different brand when the refund comes in. With this monitor, and an Acer laptop I had that the mother board gave out right after the warranty was up, I'm done with this company ...

This monitor replaced a monitor that straight up died on me. I was thankful it was the monitor and not the computer. I was pretty sure it was the monitor though, because my old monitor would wake up and everything was dim for a short while (think early-stage CFL light bulbs), and I could at least hear incoming Skype calls.

This monitor isn't 100% perfect. On an all-black screen, there's a bit (a BIT, I say) of white at the corners. But, and I say this in comparison to my apparently dying monitor:

Colors are vibrant as all get-out
Yeah, a bit of white in the corners, but black screens are pretty black. Enough so that to say otherwise feels like quibbling.

If there is any blurring issue or benefit, I don't know. I've never measured that. But I plan to go dual monitor soon, and when I do, I will likely use this model little to no bezel. Otherwise, as a person who uses this for gaming and Microsoft Word documenting and Microsoft Excel spreadsheeting and Amazon review writing, I really really like this monitor.

I bought this to replace an aging LCD monitor. Man, is this new monitor bright! Out of the box, the brightness is set to 100%; I turned it down to 30%.

The colors are vibrant and crisp, and the contrast is very nice. I play a lot of PC games, and games look absolutely gorgeous. The backlighting of the monitor is a nice, even tone across the face of it.

The menu controls are a little tough to figure out. It took me five minutes of playing with them to get it (I never read the manual). That shouldn't be too much of a problem, as you'll probably set it once or twice, and never touch it again.

The power button is a round protruding piece of clear plastic hanging off the bottom right of the frame, and it glows blue when on. Very easy to find in the dark, whether the monitor is on or off.

The inputs are VGA and DVI-D (no HDMI). No speakers, either, which is great; monitor speakers are usually a wasted expense IMO. Standalone speakers are a much better value.

The power cord has an external brick. That probably keeps the design of the monitor thin and light, and helps it stay cooler. My last monitor had the AC adapter internal, so it was able to use industry standard power cables (the type your PC probably has). This monitor has a specialty cable for power.

In fact, there are four cables in the box; everything you need to connect it to the video output of your PC. The four cables are the power cord, the AC adapter, the DVI cable, and the VGA cable. Some manufacturers skimp by not giving you the cable you need to connect to your PC, so it's very nice that those cables are included in the box.

My biggest complaint with the monitor is that the stand only lifts the screen 2.5" off of your desk. I will need to buy a monitor stand for it (or improvise something, more likely). The monitor does have the four standard screw holes on the back for mounting on an arm or on the wall.

As of this writing, I've only had it for a day, but it's a very impressive monitor so far.

Very poor quality picture and inadequate controls

If you're looking for a good monitor to plug into a computer (I am using a MacBook Pro (2560x1600 resolution) with DVI to USB-C cable adaptor), look elsewhere. For an HD monitor, the screen is very fuzzy, and the controls for brightness and contrast work, but sharpness does not. There is no working automatic calibration feature. There are only drivers available for Windows 10, nothing for Mac (even then I don't think it would improve the picture quality) I am very dissatisfied, even for $120. You get what you pay for. Try another brand.

Nowhere in the product description does it say that the monitor runs off of an AC adapter supplying 12v DC to the monitor.
If that had been disclosed, I probably would have chosen a different monitor.
As it is I am stuck with this one.
I will not return it from Hawaii for that reason alone.
With that said, it does seem to be doing the job of being used with a security camera system.

Update:
A couple of months after the 1 year warranty anniversary, the 12v connector on the back of the monitor has become faulty.
The connection has to be wiggled around to get power to the monitor.
It is getting worse. Very soon power will not be coming through at all.
In the future I will only purchase monitors that connect directly to 120v power, no AC adapter required.
On this one, they hid the fact that an AC adapter was required.
Trust no one.

Pros: Looks a lot like my old monitor.

Cons: Slightly taller than older monitor (I’ll live).

Major cons: There is an annoying green hue that is hard to spot. It is really weird because it isn't a total hue that would be noticeable all the time, like on a white background, so the only way I can ever really notice is if I compare it to my older monitor, or look at use my phone as a reference.
The green isn’t nearly as noticeable in the pictures I attached, but it is a lot more noticeable in person. The last picture is my final fix for the solution where I changed the colour temperature setting directly on the monitor to "cool" which applies an overall blue hue. I tried for many hours to mess with the colour scheme to match my older monitor but it is a waste of time for I am not an artsy person. After day 3, I have kinda grown use to the monitor and I am not as upset. After all, it is my secondary monitor and I won’t be doing anything important on it.

I’ve decided to keep it because it still matches my older monitor, but I am going to try to contact ACER for help. I have till Jan 31st 2019 to decide I guess. Wish me luck.

The first picture is the default setting, the next two are after the colour setting "cool" is applied. The original picture should only have shades of blue and white. New monitor on the left, old monitor on the right.

Will update as I go along.

Issue with monitor

I have been using the monitor for 2 months and it has a line/glitch in the screen. Our return window has closed but I'd appreciate an exchange for this monitor. I have 4 others that are OK but after 2 months this one developed a line/glitch in the center of the screen.
If an exchange is accepted I would say there is a good chance you will get a good monitor for the price. But there is a risk that it may develop this. This has progressed and now turns on and off. NOT RELIABLE after 2 months.
