I had high expectations for this monitor. I really want a 3D monitor that looks decent.
I bought a Fujifilm W3 3d camera some time back , and I'm looking for a nice way to watch my pictures other than anaglyph (colored glasses).
However, the 3D quality is very disappointing. The center of the screen looks very good, very nice 3D effect, but the top 1/4th and bottom 1/4th show a lot of ghosting / crosstalk. I tried connecting the camera directly (it supports hdmi 1.4) and also my PS3 directly with a 3D movie. Both have the same problem. It's specially bad with pictures as usually the sky is at the top of the screen and the ghosting is very evident. I returned this monitor today.
For 2D viewing it looks pretty good, but I bought it for 3D (otherwise it's not worth the extra $$$)
I will post some pictures I took through the shutter glasses that show the ghosting.
If this monitor wasn't sold for a premium and with 3D glasses , just for 2D, i would probably give it 4 or 5 stars. But being sold at $400+ with 3D glasses, it should work fine, hence 2 stars

It's a very good monitor for 2D, but if you want to get 3D, you have to have compatible hardware and software. I was unable to get 3D because either ATI 6250 not Nvidia GTS250 are not compatible with HDMI 1.4a 3D standard. Also it's not supported by nVidia 3D vision. If you have an nVidia card with 3DTV Play support you'll get 3D using Nvidia 3DTV Play or if you have ATI HD3D compatible video adapter, then it will work with iZ3D or tridef. But you only get 1080p 24Hz or 720 60Hz video. 24Hz is actually bad for 3D applications. It's OK for movies. The monitor doesnt have DVI port. This means you cannot get 120Hz in 2D. 120 is just up-scaled from 24Hz or 60Hz.

Pros:
- energy saving
Contras:
- No 120Hz in 2D
- Only HDMI 1.4a 3D support (check if you VGA adapter supports it!!)
- built in speakers are same quality as netbook speakers

-----edit-----
After I compared to my netbook screen, the monitor has yellow tint. For example sky is not blue but gray. Too bad. I tried adjust settings from menu and from ati software, but no hope

Pros: 1. Great colors, seen some "professional" reviewers saying this monitor has a green tint. I don't see it at all. Colors are perfect.

2. 3D is easy to setup, no problems, didn't have to install any drivers just use nvidia control panel.

3. 120hz Flicker Free- I just want to say this because I used to game with the old type 30hz glasses and 60hz CRT, and flickering was a nightmare. This has zero flickering that I can see.

4. very bright, not a con, it's good because I only need to run 25% for non 3D and 50% for 3D, so plenty room left to adjust for dark games.

5. Zero ghosting, very fluid.

6. Base is great, very solid, height adjustment, tilt, base rotates.

7. No perceivable input lag, If I were to rate the lag, I would give this monitor a perfect score. Overhyped if you ask me.

8. Decent viewing angle

9. no dead pixels- yes I used a pixel checking program

Cons: 1. Some games have slight crosstalk, but honestly I don't think it's the monitor, I think it's either because game has lower then "Excellent" rating, or because of the drivers, because some games don't even have a hint of it.

2. Don't like the buttons, no back light and awkward to press.

3. Not a 27" 3d monitor. I wanted one, but got sick of waiting and couldn't wait forever, so I ended up buying this instead. Glad I did.

4. Glossy screen- normally it would bother me, but it's only noticeable when the monitor is off. My room is a little dark though, so might be a problem if you are in a light room.

5. I do have three monitors, my dell 24" ultrasharp is a 60hz, for some reason some games have an issue running 3d if it is on due to the refresh rate difference, so I have to turn it off. not the monitors fault, just a driver issue.

6. need a longer DVI cable, had to move my PC because it wouldn't reach.

6. can't afford 3. :(
