There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
I had read reviews saying this needed some tweaking and they weren't kidding. On the OSD, you will want to go into picture and probably bump up contrast/brightness a little, then turn 'black boost' down to 0. It seems to do the opposite of what I'd expect. But the biggie for me was turning 'super sharpness' OFF. It was edge sharpening everything - interfering with cleartype on my fonts, screen borders, and in my games it was really messing with edges and bump maps, it looked horrible, and I was looking in the drivers, the AMD software, game settings everywhere until I rechecked the OSD for the monitor and found the sharpening feature.
Also, as others suggest, you will want to change the color profile (go into 'color and go down a few steps and you'll see 'sRGB mode', turn that on.
Once that was all messed with, I'm MUCH happier with this. Still a little more washed out than I'd like but I plan on tweaking color settings a bit more to try and get it there. There is a surprising amount of tailoring the OSD allows.
Upon receipt of the package, it was clear that it had been opened before - the tape was slit. But there were no signs of use and all the plastic films were still on each part, and none of the hardware bags had been opened.
The stock viewing angle is a perfect 90 degrees, but the monitor has no adjustability without replacing the stock stand with a VESA mount, so with my desk height it's slightly less than ideal.
I like the minimalist look, the unlabeled multi-function buttons, color accuracy seems pretty good as long as your viewing angle is dialed in, refresh rate is good, bezels are small, glare isn't an issue. You get 1440p resolution for 1080p prices.
Actual rating: 4/5. Rating adjusted for the price: 5/5, easy.
Overall, this was a steal for $200.
The picture quality is average, kind of dim, but that's a TN panel trademark anyways. For gaming, it works just fine and for the money, it's a good investment at a budget price. I plan to use it as a side panel when I buy a 144Hz model, and it will be just fine for that job too.
On the fence as to buy it or not? I'd recommend you just do it if you need a 27" 1ms gaming panel right now. You can always save up for the next product up the stack while enjoying this one in the meantime.
About 4months after purchashing my monitor developed an intermittently thin blue vertical line. Acer was fairly easy to reach. I filed a claim online, but never received an email with instructions. I was able to check the repair status online, but it didn't have instructions. So then I was able to use their online chat feature which wasn't too painful.
Im NOT happy that I have to ship a rather large monitor and at my expense...but such is life I suppose.

Es un monitor de gama media, el panel tiene un rango de visión regular, tienes que estar directamente en frente para ver los colores correctamente.
El problema más grande es que tiene bastante "ghosting" cuando utiliza los 75hz, es bastante molesto a la hora de jugar.
