Got this laptop about 3 years ago (in August 2020) and it works great. Played every game I installed, and now I mostly just use it for school and it runs everything smooth and fast (including 3d anatomy apps). Nice big screen, great resolution. Fans can get loud but that's a thing with every gaming laptop ever and they don't get any louder than my PS5 fans. The fans (and overall design) are also very good and it's more than capable of keeping itself cool. You can also customize the fan behavior and keyboard lights. It's got other nice features that I forgot about. I've never pressed the turbo button because I'm afraid to, but I assume that does something.
Battery life is okay. I wouldn't leave the house with it without bringing the charger. If you're playing a heavy type of game it'll drain pretty fast, faster than if you're just browsing avalerage websites or whatever. I'm the type of person that always has the charging cable nearby, if not already plugged in. The battery life is pretty much what I expected, so I'm not terribly critical of it, but some people may be.
Overall just a great laptop, whatever you're using it for.
