I ordered this product just after the Pixel 2 was released. The initial version of this product didn't work with the Pixel 2, but Acessorz has since updated the product. After an excellent discourse with their customer service representative, I received a new adapter and found that it works with the Pixel 2 for data transfer and fast charging. Using a 2.0A Samsung charger I had from my previous phone, I was able to charge my Pixel 2 from 22% to 100% in about 85 minutes (corresponding to 1.5 A or 1.8 hours for a full charge). I was able to transfer a 1.66 GB video file at around 165 Mbps on a USB 2.0 port (didn't test a USB 3.0 port). Overall, the adapter works great and I found the Acessorz customer service to be fantastic!

I bought these only to charge my new iPad, and my machine doesn't charge the iPad, nor recognize it's connected. Given MY reason for buying it, these adapters are a total waste of money.

I just got these in today and I'm very unhappy because they do not work. There were 2 adapters in the box. I tried both. I bought them for my new iPad Pro, but they do not work. I tried hooking them (each) to the computer USB & it wouldn't even register that there was anything connected. I plugged it in to a USB wall plug (as if to charge)...again nothing! Didn't even show that the iPad was hooked up to anything. Very disappointed with this purchase. I am promptly returning these adapters. 12/10/18 - I was contacted by the seller with regard to this review. I upgraded the rating as I had not seen in the description until now that the iPad Pro 2018 is not supported with this adapter. I now see that this is in the description, so this error was on me. I am willing to admit when I am wrong. I did not try the adapter on any other item...I don't own any other USB-C item. So, to be fair I want to acknowledge my error. ** UPDATE 1/10/19 ** I received replacements from the seller that ARE compatible with the iPad Pro 2018. I URGE YOU TO LOOK AT OTHER ITEMS FROM THIS SELLER FOR THE ONES THAT WORK WITH iPAD PRO 2018. THEY HAVE OTHER ADAPTERS THAT WORK PERFECTLY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SELLER. THEY HAVE GONE ABOVE & BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT. :)

This small little adapter is reliable and worth every penny. I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro 2017 and a shiny new collection of USB-C dongle/adapters and new cables such as USB-C to Lightning as well as Micro USB. I still have my older MacBook Pro 2013 and this adapter allows me to use all the dongles, adapters, and cables on the MBP 2013. No need to own two sets of cable types or double up on dongles and peripherals. Another small but worthy point is I can charge my iPhone X using a USB-C to Lightning cable on my older MBP 2013 using this adapter. No need to carry a tangled mess of different cable type in my bag.

Note: this is a Single (1) adapter, don't be confused by the picture of TWO... and the packaging i got has TWO slots, with only ONE adapter. That being said - the unit works with my external SSD with no problems. I chose this vs others adapters due to the size.. i can leave it plugged into my PC and not worry about bumping it and breaking either the adapter or the USB port or removing it, leaving it my pocket or coat and have it laundered or lost ... all would be more costly than the difference in price of the other adapters I found. The unit appears to be well made and does plug in TIGHT for both sides. If you NEED more than 480Mbps, then chose something else... if you are looking for a simple minimalist adapter that gives you the ability to use USB-C devices I would consider this every-time.... until I can afford another PC with USB-C built in.

Works great for Yubikeys

I bought this adapter and one other no-name brand of the same type: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0793MWSBQ/ This one is about half the height, so perfect for a Yubikey 5c you carry with you, if you want to leave the adapter attached to it. Where this one differs from the other one I linked to is this one is limited to USB 2.0, so if your intent is to pair this with an external high speed device, like a camera or flash drive, you may want to order the bulkier option with USB 3.0 support versus this one. If you just need the smallest A to C adapter possible, without caring about transfer speeds, this one is perfect.

Confusing Pictures but Customer Service is Great!

IT IS ONLY ONE ADAPTER! There are lots of similar products on Amazon that show similar pictures and state you get a 2 pack, this is not one of them. The picture makes it seem so, but you don't. There is only one. Obviously, this is my own fault as it doesn't say anywhere you get a pack of two, but it's pretty confusing. Also, they don't show how their logo is on the product, which looks very unappealing. The advertising on this product is annoying and the product is not how I expected it, for that reason I give it 2 stars. Does it function? Yes. But I definitely would not buy this product again and therefore would not give 3 stars.

I received a replacement unit from the vendor - ti's s different style than the original mini adapter, but it works flawlessly. At this point I dunno if the unit I received was broken, or there's some design issue with the mini adapters, but I'm bumping up rating to 4 stars overall (would have been 5 it it was only for the customer satisfaction and the new working adapter).

Sort of works - I've got yubikey to work (but only in one orientation of yubikey plugged into the USB-C port (even tho USB-C supposed to be reversible) and couldn't get any of my USB-C drives to work (all resulted in my Mac throwing error about disabling USB ports due to high-power usage). I ordered different USB-C -> USB-A adapter (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0749Q9Y4N/) and that one worked flawlessly.
