This boot tray is very pretty and durable. Since it is narrow, I can easily fit it in the corner behind the door in my kitchen. I like that it is made out of flexible rubber; it makes me think that it can handle the door being accidentally slammed into it without breaking. I actually like this boot tray so much that I ordered another one for by my other door.

Thanks to the reviewers we found exactly what we needed to hold two bowls of water for our one dog and our cats. Our dog is a 60 lb. non drooler so can't help with review about that. The two bowls we use are medium size mixing bowls bought at our local thrift store. The deep lip keeps water from getting all over the floor. We also place a disposable piddle pad under the bowls to make clean up easier.
The mat stays in place on our kitchen floor, no slipping around. The only problem we have is that when cleaning and refilling the water bowls there is always a cat sitting on the mat which needs to be shooed away so we can put the bowl back on the mat (sighing, and asking seriously again you must! lol)

This is a great boot pan. But if you are buying it for its high sides (in the hopes it would hold water), you are in for a mild surprise. It definitely holds the water. But, when you try to pick the pan up to empty it, the pan (made of soft rubber) won't hold its shape. The water will spill out as the rubber flexes and bends in on itself. So, this product is not the easy solution to both containing boot water [from snow] AND then getting rid of it.

I live in Michigan and walk my dog daily so my boots and shoes get messy in winter. This tray fits perfectly in the small area under a table where I keep my walking shoes.
I added medium-sized river rock to help drain snow and water from my shoes.
It feels sturdy but it is a bit stinky- being rubber. I hope the smell will fade in time.

I actually bought this tray to put my many lovely green plants in. I had my plants with drain plates but sometimes they overflowed. And I didn't want to damage my beautiful dresser drawer. So now this acts as a protective base to catch any extra water flow. It's super well made with a really nice rubber texture and I really like the design they put on it. I thought it seemed a little expensive at first but after receiving it I believe it's well worth the money.

I love the design and the size is perfect for the space. I do wish though that the material was more rigid and odor free. This product smells like a Walmart shoe isle.... I had to leave the product outside in the sun to remove VOCs and, with winter coming, have now placed it on the garage until the smell is gone. Unfortunately that means I am not yet able to use it as winter approaches and when I need it most! Once this issue is resolved, I do hope to enjoy the product.
