The Slipper Sock, one of Acorn's earliest products, was based on Quinn's memories of ski vacations as a child and the old-fashioned slippers they wore in the cabins. Since those days, the Acorn company has become known for indoor and outdoor footwear that's as technologically advanced as it is soothing and cozy. Since its humble beginnings, Acorn has held strong to Quinn's original goal: to provide comfort to the world, one pair of feet at a time. Their commitment to comfort and satisfaction has led them through a wide array of designs and wonderful choices for consumers who care about the state of their feet... and those of their loved ones. The underneath of the show is a different sort of support than I'm used too - very soft, it feels like it molds to the bottom of your feet. I'll have to get used to it, but I think it will turn out alright. The major complaint is where the stretch material is - the material that makes this size "12-13". It pinches at the top inside of my foot and that is not acceptible.
I suppose I'll wear it with socks, but the point was to not have to wear socks around the house anymore.
The material eventually stretched out and the slipper did get very comfortable. I wore them into the ground (frequent use for 6+ months) and I will be buying more.

Decided to search Amazon more in-depth. For slippers. Go figure. But I don't like going out to the brick & mortar stores. That is time consuming without any guarantee of finding what you want. Saw the reviews on ACORN. Saw the elastic material on these. Saw the price. Debated with myself. Placed my order. Hoped.
Couple days later I received these at my front door. Tried them on. Did not fall off. A little tight, even. But felt pretty good right from the get-go. I wore them over a few days for a few hours each day. They were more comfortable with each hour of wear. Now, after a month or so, I've worn them going outside because I've forgotten "I'm wearing slippers." Although they are made well enough to wear outside for short periods of time.
So I love 'em. Fit is perfect. Feet stay warm. I will, without question and without hesitation, order again.
Note: I wear a size 13 EEEE in New Balance SHOES.
I love reading the reviews from people who have purchased what I'm considering buying through Amazon. I hope this review has helped you, the reader, in making your decision.
They are very warm and comfortable. They are great until I am on my feet for a long period of time. The right slipper is still lopsided and the sole is beginning to bunch and created a little hump in the heel thus starting to cause a little discomfort in my right leg- becoming very annoying.
I should have exchanged them right away. Just inspect them before you wear. They are really nice slippers.
Happy :) / Sad :(
My foot size is about a 10.5 american according to most shoe manufactures, I made certain to get the size that goes up to 11.5 and it fits perfect so I would guess that you should make certain to get a size larger than you think you need.
The slipper works good for traction on the slippery hardwood floors that we have in our house. I have also accidently worn them outside a time or two onto wet and icy sidewalks and didnt realize until I got back in (they stayed dry thanks to the sole)
Toasty warm, and no odor after 3 weeks of consistent wearing.
Down side is there is no support /strength to these slippers so, if like me, you tend to run over the sides of your shoes you will find within a day or so of wearing these that you will over run which ever side(s) you normally do. I just adjust and live with it, they are warm enough to make it worthwhile.
Will be trying something with a more durable sole now.

Great, very comfy house shoes. No significant arch support provided, but that wasn't what I was looking for in these house shoes. Nice, soft memory foam-like sole.Published 1 month ago by BassAtl
