'Acquacotta is a serious and authoritative homage to the foodways of this little-known but lovely corner of Tuscany, its history, its influences, its landscape and its wonderful produce. Every dish in this book respects local knowledge and tradition and thanks to the author's brilliant photography, its essential nature is revealed for all to see and understand. I love it.' - Stephanie Alexander
About the Author
EMIKO DAVIES is an Australian-Japanese food writer and Food52 and Cucina Corriere columnist living in Tuscany. She arrived in Florence with nothing but some broken Italian. Top customer reviews
From salads to meats, pastas to sweets, this book is loaded with dishes that call to you from the coasts of Tuscany. Some cookbooks are filled with gorgeous photography, but the recipes leave something to be desired. Others have delectable dishes, but little to no (or very poor) photography. Beautiful and delicious, this book combines the best of both worlds, and I’m happy to recommend it.
I received a copy of this book from Hardie Grant for my honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
