This book lays it all out for you. The information presented is in line with what I've learned from reputable sources, and it's written in an accessible and non-judgmental tone.
The focus of the book is to help you put together the pieces of your personal fitness plan (because everyone is different!), and how to make it grow/change with you as you get stronger. It's got chapters that focus on the major topics such as physical activity and nutrition, with shorter vignettes about important subtopics topics such as goal setting, sleep, water intake, and so on. It also has chapters on fitness regarding different common conditions, such as pregnancy, aging, heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
I love this book. I only wish it had come out sooner - it would have saved me a lot of time and trouble. But I'm happy it's here and it's really helped me to realign and get focused on my fitness.
