Truly, the premise is well explored, and the love and fetish story seems fairly well explained, if forced. Obviously "magic" can probably fill in the few plot holes. To me EITHER the couple are moving JUST too fast to be real, OR this was some kind of unexplored fetish for them both [both are possible]. But over all the story moves at a decent pace regardles. Rough, dirty intercourse, and primal desires are fantastic motivators and add a layer to the erotica.
There are a few spelling errors, and gramar has 2 hicups that i saw in the novela.
But what drags this book down most is its similarities and *blatant callbacks* to another story centered on ogres. Not wanting to name any names, the author AT FIRST keeps the reference very discreet. Also, the end result of the transformation (i think) is akin to orcs from world of warcraft, or a green pockmarked version of the Uruk high from lord of the rings; so it only pulls me out of the story to suddenly when i instinctively think of the same Visage with smooth, grass green skin and tube ears. A more traditionaly beautiful image, but distracting none the less. Around the same point the story starts to lose its grip and STARTS to feel like a cringe worthy fan fiction, BUT it then manages to EASILY swing back around to a gritty, grimy, primal erotica.
A bit rough going down, but It doesn't leave a bad taste in the mouth, with a cute ending that just saves it from the... references. Also i was expecting the thief to have more fun with the amulet, but its certainly good as is, and far from the worst out there. Not the best*, but not terrible, bad, or boring in the least. A very good Buy
