This unit is not has "heavy" as the old SunPro because the case is plastic, not metal, but the cable length, dial markings, and switch are EXACTLY the same as the one built in the 1950's or '60's that I grew up using.
I have used this unit to accurately gauge rmps for my 2-cyl motorcycle (even though it doesn't specify use for 2-cyl, just gauge accordingly on 8-cyl scale), 4-cyl cars, and my antique V8's. Setting/measuring the Dwell is easy, accurate, and simple using this meter. Voltage measurements rival any digital meter... and you can see pulses and spikes easily by watching the needle!
If you have a vehicle and do your own wrench-turning, you can't be without this analyzer... especially if you have antiques that have points in the distributor.
