Convenient push-button side release valve allows repeated testing without the need to disconnect between tests saving you valuable time and elimating the hassle. Gauge features a 2-1/2 inch diameter, easy-to-read white face with standard and metric scales: 0-300 PSI and 0-2100 kPa, highly accurate Bourdon Tube movement, and heavy-duty rubber boot. The 17 inch, high-pressure, flexible, oil and grease resistant hose features a quick release connection at the gauge for faster, easier use. Includes adapters for most standard spark plug thread sizes: 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 14mm long reach, and 18mm plus a handy repair kit with valves and rubber O-rings. Note: it is very important to ensure that adapters are securely tightened to the hose to prevent possible separation when removing the tester from the cylinder head. No carry/storage box or pouch; & it’s not accurate.

Not accurate, didn’t come with the carry pouch. Twice I bought this, and twice it did not come with the carry pouch. These things have to be protected, so they need a proper divider, storage box. Also, I tested multiple times and it came up short, not accurate. Yes, I followed proper procedures, too. It’ll get you by, but it’s not a quality product.

Cheap, Very Cheap Not for Flathead motors!!!

EDIT: Customer service for this company was NULL. They simply ignored me for a week and then after persistence they finally told me they would not replace the 2.50 cent fitting! That is pretty bad.

I was not impressed as soon as I opened the package with quality. The fittings feel like the cheapest things you can make. The gauge seems ok for the money and the hose feels alright, but the fittings are junk. I had to destroy the fitting and the threads on my head to get one of them out which was a very expensive endeavor. Another note is DO NOT thread this into a flathead motor, they will fit the threads but are to deep and will hit the piston...I KNOW THIS. All together I would say as usual when you buy something cheap you get something cheap. Look for a nice professional gauge set if your a professional shop, these are not worth the frustration and will not last at all.

It has standard air hose connections, so if you remove the schrader valve, you can actually compress the cylinder to look for valve leaks, which is nice. Just make sure to replace the valve before you try to to another compression test.

Just as Lyle Josey pointed out, the adapters can get stuck screwed into your engine and cause a problem. This happened to me the first time I used the device. The solution is to make sure the adapter is VERY tightly screwed onto the tester (maybe even use LocTite if you don't plan on using the other adapters), so that it doesn't come off when you go to unscrew the whole assembly from your engine. Other than that, it seems to be of decent quality and worked fine to test the compression in my F20C motor in an S2000.

I am quite dissatisfied with the quality of product. The Compression Tester being used for the fourth time in a deep spark plug cavity, would not thread out. The hose crimp at threaded end would not hold and had to pull hose off of threaded insert of Tester. I was able to remove other end with long nose needle nose pliers. I was fortunate to be able to get insert out and made for a tense moment. Now can I find a small clamp to reattach hose and allow access to deep plug cavities.

Iv used it a hand full of times and the reading were very accurate. The only problem with this tester is the adapters. When I was checking a cylinder I loosened the hose off but the adapter stayed in. I tried a couple times to put the hose back on even with thread locker to pull the adapter out to no avail. I had to get a socked and have the outside milled down to fit inside the spark plug hole. This left the car un-drivable for a day and I also lost a socket.
