These comments are right on.
The only thing I can think of regarding the previous battery life comments is that production had some issues early on that've since been resolved.
It eats batteries at an ASTONISHING rate to the point of being basicaly useless.
I returned it and was told it was defective. The new unit was equally as bad.
The manufacturer will not return calls.
This is a CLASSIC case of getting what you pay for. Step up and buy a good one
I was pleasantly surprised, as we're now well within the 3rd month and still on the first battery set. Not only that, but the battery indicator still shows full.
Temperature readouts are large enough to be seen from a few feet away, and it's small an unobtrusive overall.

Works fine. Got this when my weather clock's outside module stopped working.Published 22 days ago by John R Kelly
Temps are up to 15 degrees off on the out temp. This my second one. I give up.
My favorite Gizmo. I love to always know the temperature. My advise is to buy 2. Keep one in a common area and the other by your bed. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Stan Heck
Nice unit and works well. The LCD display is very small and can be difficult to read. If you put it on a window sill the back lighting will make it impossible to read.Published 1 month ago by Gerald C. Greenwood
