Not very reliable and broke after 3 weeks

Now, when I first for the Acuvar 6.5 inch flexible tripod I was happy with it and very useful when using for smartphones when doing vlogs and youtube live broadcasting but now I am going to have to report that the product legs broke while in use and my iphone screen broke as it drop to the floor when I'd had it mount aka wrap around end of the table head. So not only that I have to replace my screen on my iPhone but now have to contact amazon to get my money back.

Pros:
Flexible and light weight for smartphones
Smartphone mount for smartphones.
Come with a tiny ball head w/ adjustment

Cons
Feel very cheap and made out of standard industry plastic
Legs are short but broke after a 3 weeks of usages.

Legs Snap Off After Light Use

Served me well for about a month until one of the legs broke off from the joints and the month later the other one broke off.
I guess you get what you paid before right? It did fit my Galaxy (5inch but fit my friends 5.5inch phone also) and held it very secure and was stable when all 3 legs were attached.
The tripod is made out of cheap black plastic so don't throw it around or be rough with it because it WILL crack, It is not as strong as it looks.
Perhaps, the metal on my tripod was defective but, I doubt it and was probably that weak from factory. If you need something in a hurry then this will do just fine for whatever you need it for. I wouldn't recommend this if you have more money to spare and this tripod WILL NOT last you long.

Very inexpensive yet useful tool

Every since Covid 19 rocked our worlds, I have found that I rely more and more on Zoom to connect with my friends, my family, and my work! Now it gets a little tedious trying to hold your phone steady for hour long Zoom meetings, and taking notes was impossible. And then I got this handy little phone tripod. I love it. It's super lightweight. The legs are very flexible, and can be bent around objects to hold your phone if needed. I use it simply as a tripod for my Zoom meetings. But I've also found it great for watching Netflix on my phone in bed, using the legs to wrap around part of my headboard. It is very inexpensive and was a great purchase.

This is a piece of junk!! If ave 1 star because you can’t give it a lower rating and because it worked well when it hadn’t broken. I purchased it for my 12 y/o daughter to make stop motion videos. We received it 5/8/2020, today is 6/1/2020 and one of the legs has broken off as well as the part that holds the phone. It has been less than a month, she’s used it a handful of times and it broke in several places. I do not recommend buying this item.

I love the flexibility of the legs

This review is a little late. So it didn't even last 6 months. I love the flexibility of the legs. The rotation of the head was a little obstructed by the joint the head set in. The tightening mechanism was the first to see damage apparently it can be tightened too much. It's just a screw that pulls two pieces of plastic closer to be closer together and the plastic itself started to crack. With that being said it's one of those things where you now you know so just don't tighten it as much it's not as necessary. The final straw was in the head the piece that actually clamps down onto the phone there's a socket where the joint is attached to the Head it's basically a metal piece In Case by the plastic which is the base of the head well the plastic broke and now the metal piece that I'm assuming is the part of the joint will go back in there but if weight is applied will fall back off again. Sure I could hot glue or super glue it back on but at this point I haven't tried it yet. Last little mention on the bottom of the head there is rubber cushion which is supposed to protect the phone itself it seems to be just a sticker that was stuck to the plastic because of corner of it was already starting to pull up as if it wasn't measured properly it hung over the edge. Every time I put the phone in it would lift up a little more and I have to put it back down Minor Detail sure. All in all you get what you pay for it was very inexpensive

For 6 bucks this is a buy! I really like this because it's easy to set up its portable, flexible and reasonably durable. It also came with a fiber cloth in the package which was nice, like the kind you wipe glasses with, assuming you use this for photography. I also really like this because you could not only use it as a regular tripod but it can wrap itself around certain poles and can takes pictures in portrait. Overall if you're looking for a cheap small portable tripod for your phone this is a really good product with a universal mount too.

Is what it is: super versatile and flexible, $7 plastic stand

Pros:
-Legs are super grippy when wrapped around vertical post, and hold their position well.
-Legs are very flexible.
-Phone bracket has two screw-in mounts for the stand, vertical and horizontal.
-Phone bracket holds phone extremely well (also a con).

Cons:
-Phone bracket fits around phone very tightly (also a pro), but almost too so; it can sometimes be difficult to remove phone from bracket (simple spring-together clamp).
-Ball joint and accompanying turnbuckle clamp are plastic and feel very fragile, so I wouldn't crank down too hard when tightening.
-The legs pop and crack when moved in odd directions, even though they're supposed to be made for that. We'll see how long they hold up.
-From legs to ball joint, there is no rotation and only one horizontal gap to lower phone bracket into. Basically, if you use the phone perpendicular to the legs, there is only one orientation for the legs to be (2 in front, 1 in back). Not a huge deal, but lowers versatility a bit when clamping to monitor or other post besides desktop sitting.

Overall, feels light and cheap, but is an extremely versatile phone stand for $7 that gets the job done.

I suggest getting one that cost more so it might last longer.
