Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Customers are dissatisfied with the price of the single board computer. They mention it's a good introduction to NeoPixels.
"...It is very bright. A good intro to NeoPixels. A little expensive here but you get prime shipping I guess." Read more

It was very easy to get started with Arduino Uno and a single one of these:
1. Solder some headers to the input end of the neopixel stick 2. Launch Ardunio IDE 3. Sketch menu -> Include Library -> Manage Libraries... 4. Type NeoPixel in the search box and install Adafruit NeoPixel by Adafruit. 5. Restart the IDE. 6. File -> Examples -> Adafruit NeoPixel -> strandtest 7. Upload strandtest without editing to the Uno, unplug 8. Connect 5v, Ground. Connect the data pin on the NeoPixel Stick to Digital 6 on the Uno 9. Power it on
If you're using more than one of these, or some other NeoPixel device with more than 8 pixels, don't power this directly from the Uno or you might draw too much power. I've been fine with just one of these powered off the Uno. It is very bright. A good intro to NeoPixels. A little expensive here but you get prime shipping I guess.
I got this thing because my primary client uses a lot of these Neopixel display things in their products. I wanted to have one lying around the lab to test software before trying it on their target hardware. It is very easy to use with the Adafruit library.
Kinda expensive, though. I wouldn't choose to design these things into my own products.
Perfect size and configurable lighting for my Ender 5 Plus 3D printer with SKR 1.4 Turbo main board. Neopixels are supported by the board/firmware. I purchased 2 of them, one for each front top corner. I set brightness at 127 (halfway) and it lights perfectly. The firmware also lets you use them with different colors representing bed warmup, hot end warmup, percentage of print complete and many other status indications. With a light in each corner you get printed object light from two different 45° positions for perfect lighting with no shadows in the front 180°
works well only bad thing but luckily not needed for my use it one of the grounds on the in has nothing to solder to but was unneeded still trying to figure out how to make a sunrise/sunset program ! hoping i can find one already written on one of the arduino sites to save some time
Pixel stick worked as intended. A little pricier then competitors, but if you have prime the cost is a wash once you figure in shipping. Used with Arduino Uno for a project.
I needed my pixels to be touching, so this was not usable for me, but was great for testing the circuit. If the pixel spacing suits your needs, then you too will give this 5/5.
What can I say about neopixels? They have spoiled me from using regular LED's and fiddling with resistors and taking up multiple pins on my microcontroller. One digital pin plus 5v and ground and you can control many of these as they are chainable.
They are painfully bright if you have them on full blast (white).
This little strip is great for doing prototyping work. It is a bit of a pain to get some pins soldered onto the bottom, but once you get that done it's perfect to slot into a breadboard and wire up to a micro.
