Wonderfully Engaging Trilogy

"Adam and Eve: Embarkment 2577" by Maria Hammarblad is the final book in this wonderfully engaging trilogy. Hopefully, we will see Alex again in the not so distant future. Untill then, I will miss her. She really makes me laugh. Not that everything is funny about her story. In this one, Alex gets herself (again!) in some very serious trouble. Only someone like her loving husband, Adam, can save her. Or can he? Once Eve gets into the mix nothing is certain. I burned through this book in one day. None of these three books are overly long, so that's not hard to do. But you will relish every page as I surely did. So this series has it all, scii-fi, romance, and laughter not to mention some of the most engaging characters you will ever meet in a sci-fi novella. Meanwhile, I will be keeping my fingers crossed that Alex makes a return visit in the future, and we don't have to wait until 2577 to read about it.

Another Exciting Adventure

Adam & Eve is a wonderful conclusion to the Embarkment 2577 trilogy. Another exciting tale, which takes you on a sensational voyage; full of heart, scary aliens and a villain you absolutely LOVE to hate. Once again Alex finds herself in deep doo-doo (not just an expression). Your heart sinks as vulgar creatures threaten to destroy her and the ones she loves. This was my favorite book in the series but the others are an absolute must read as well. I was a bit hopeful for a fourth book where Adam and Alex visit the planet of the "Tree People", but that is my own greedy need for more Hammarblad genius and a bitter sadness at having to say goodbye to characters I've grown to adore.
