This type of chair is sold locally at many retailers for a better price without paying S&H. The problem is that the color I wanted was not carried and the retailers were not taking orders.
I searched the internet, and although the reviews complained about shipping charges, I decided to see what the actual cost would be. The previous reviews must have had an impact because I found the S&H was much less than posted in the reviews. I decided to purchase them on line through Amazon.
The chairs came individually packed in multiple cartons taped together to fit the chair. At first I wondered why they did not stack them before packing. I later concluded the chairs would have been damaged. It was a pain to recycle all those cartons.
The chairs are not as hefty as I had hoped but I am satisfied with product.
The seller failed to remove pricing labels which had a cheaper price than paid on-line.
The chairs were very dirty as if stored outside.
All in all, I would purchase them again given all the parameters I mentioned above.
