I don't think that anyone who reviewed this cd actually listened to it. I just got in the mail from Amazon, yesterday, and it is awesome. The regular Adam's song on the CD is the aussie radio edit, so it's cut a minute or so shorter, but it still a good song. The live tracks, Going Away To College, Adam's Song, And Wendy Clear are great, and especially the jokes in between the songs, "Ya know why I'm wearing J-Crew boxers? Because when you gotta a package this nice, ya gotta gift wrap it."

I have been a fan of Blink for a while now but even when i heard this song it blew me away. From what ive heard it is about a boy who has just split up from his girlfreind and he feels so bad and so is writing a letter to her because he is goin to kill himself before he is 16. If you listen to the lyrics you can get the jist of it:
'I never thought I'd die alone, i laughed the loudest who'd of known?'
'I never thought id die alone, another 6 months ill be alone'
'i never conquered, rarely came. 16 just held such better days. Days when i still felt alive, days when we couldnt wait to get outside.'
'i couldnt wait till i got home to pass the time in my room alone'
...It is truly great song no matter who you are and it, and the album, are both a defo buy. Blink 182's new album is out this summer and hopefully that should be great aswell.

A Kid's Review on January 3, 2006
Format: Audio CD
i never really liked Adams song but i listened to this cd because it had a couple of live songs that i did like. I listened to Adams Song finally and the emotion and passion that they put on this recording was stunning. it is about a kid who is going to pull the trigger. The live songs are great also. there is a little bit of swearing but that is expected with blink 182 and the sound of the live tracks are great. it sounds like the original studio recordings.............only much better(and a bunch of crazed fans screaming) the cd is a little expensive, but if you have an extra twenty bucks then definatly get this album/single, or some other blink recording.

I love "Adam's Song" it is one of the best songs off their album "Enema of the State" and shows great versatility and raw talent from the band. All their songs are fast paced punk masterpieces with great energy, but this song just blew me away the first time I heard it, and still does every time I hear it now! Blink 182 is one of the most influental punk bands of our time! such as other great punk bands like NOFX, MxPx, Lagwagon, No Motiv, Bad Religion, Less than Jake, The Hippos, and many others!

»...you'll be sorry when I'm gone.« The third single taken from the success album »Enema Of The State« is a very depressing song. It is about a boy who commits suicide. Mark Hoppus - the bassist of the band - got the idea to wrote this song after getting a letter by e-mail. Blink 182 - well-known for their party songs - show a new kind of Blink lyrics und song arrangement.

Additionally to the Radio Edit there are live versions of »Going Away To College«, »Adam's Song« and »Wendy Clear«.
