I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Over USB 3.0 paired to an internal Anker PCIe USB 3.0 adapter card we got an average of 175Mbps Down & 190Mbps Up! Ironically on USB 2.0 we got faster Upload speeds of 126Mbps Down & 230Mbps Up on average. Wow.
Installation was simple, no drivers needed on Windows 10 Home x64. Was up and running in moments. Also of note the adapter was cool to the touch as well. None of that overheated nonsense you may encounter on other adapters I've seen. So it should last a good while since it doesn't seem to be cooking itself.
So yeah, this is going to be my default adapter of choice for those who need wifi but don't want to spend a huge amount of money. Def go for it! I'll likely be purchasing one for myself to use with more builds. As my old TP Link AC600 was only able to manage 50 on 802.11n & AC performance was much lower than that.

Well, I'm throroughly impressed by this little usb wifi adapter! The performance at the price point is excellent. Needed this little guy for a new system build for a college student. I wasn't expecting much but boy did this little adapter deliver. I'm fortunate enough to have Fiber in my home and get 1000 Down / 1000 Up. I looked this up by reviews and this is the top for a reason. It was so easy to install, I screwed in the antenna to the usb part and then plugged it in. I had to open the folder and open up the installation instructions to kick start the installation for this but other than that, it was plug and play. My desktop is kinda old and I knew the wifi adapter was going out on it. To get a decent wifi signal prior to this installation, it was near impossible to get, it doesn't help that I have a dresser in front of my computer and I'm the furthest away from the modem in my house so any boost of any kind is welcome. I went from a speed of 7 to 48, I'm beyond happy with this device.

To get it going, all you have to do is plug it into your pc, wait for it to process the device, and then access it as if it was a disk and you'll see folders with executables for windows or mac. Just clicking the program installs the necessary drivers and it allowed me to use wifi immediately after that. The whole process took probably 3 minutes or less.
This is a very user-friendly product, and it does the job well done while supporting usb 2/3.0 and 2.4 or 5 ghz wifi bands. For $20, this is probably one of the best values on amazon you're going to find.

This wifi adapter works as intended, and it does it really well. My router is upstairs in our top floor. There, I get 120 Mbps from my phone. I have a pc setup in the basement to hook up to a tv, and the adapter, as shown in the picture, gets 62 mbps which is really good considering how far it is for our router. Also, this was the 2.4 Ghz band, I didn't try the 5 Ghz as I figured the walls would make it worse, but having the option is really helpful for people who won't have walls in the way.By Genuine reviewer on December 24, 2018
