What twists and turns in this story, wonderful just simply wonderful! Adelaide was a real strong woman thank goodness people finally came to see it.
I'm on to book 8, I have them all and am reading them fro the prelude to the final book. I've only been reading them for three days, they are fantastic!
Right off the train emotions run high with a nasty as can be neighbor of the man she is supposed to marry as John her intended albeit he didn't know a mail order bride was sent for him, waits for her and his nasty neighbor Salter decided to grab her right off the train. Well, it goes from never being married for John as he helps Adelaide escape the clutches of nasty Salter, to love unrequited, to so many ups and downs, good and bad, to safety of Adelaide to his ranch failing and all sort of problems.
Ciara Knight can write multiplex characters to highs and lows, surprises, to adventure good and bad to all kinds of things. Both main characters also are both deeply scared in several ways and that all falls into this plot as well .
Now I can't wait for another of her books to read as I found another wonderful author who I think will be a regular for me once again.

However, I do wish the editing were better. It would be nice to get the villain's name straight.
