I got this product to try something new for my 75th day in a row of rollerblading a marathon. I went out at 1:30am and took the attached video. It took me a little while to get used, but I started feeling comfortable with it. It is so lightweight that you don't even feel you're wearing it. I love that you can direct the beam to where you need it. It is a 5 star product up to this point. However, I went out for 30 miles and before I got back home I noticed the light wasn't as bright as when I left. I got home 3 hours and 20 minutes after I turned it on and it was completely dead by 3 hours and 40 minutes. The product information says it last 5 hours on high and 10 hours on low. 3 hours and 40 minutes isn't even close to 5 hours and it was fully charged to 5 lights before I left. I was 20 minutes away from being stuck on a trail in the dark in the middle of the night. And you can't use it while it's charging even if I had brought an external battery. I wonder if I just got a defective battery or something. None of the other 31 reviews on here mention how long their device lasts. But if you don't need it to last 5 hours, it's perfect.

I run 2-3 times a week. This time of year sun sets pretty early so I run at night and just can't find myself loving a headlamp. I decided to order one of these because the concept looks great. Something happened with the order and I never got it because Amazon delivery messed up. Amazon refunded my money. The company sent their obligatory email to ask me if I liked the product and I told them I never got because Amazon screwed up, but I was OK since I got a refund. They offered to send me one free of charge and didn't ask for anything in return - not even a five star review. I'm writing this to help others make a decision.
This is a pretty cool light. For walking, hiking, camping, etc - I think it's a fantastic, hands free - not on the head light. My problem may be unique to me, but I find the twist of my torso as I run causes the light to shine not quite where I want it as I run. Then again maybe I could use this to train myself to run more efficiently without those unnecessary movements.
My other gripe is that I've come to realize that having all these rechargeable devices (lights, speakers, phones, etc.) means throwing away a perfectly good device when it no longer takes a charge. I wish this light had a normal battery pack and I could use my own rechargeable batteries.

Very bright and comfortable to wear. I'm an early morning runner and always wore a headlamp, this product is a game changer. I can now wear any type of seasonal head gear and eye protection without the headlamp getting in the way or being positioned improperly. I also love the flashing lights on the back, I run down a lot of dark country roads. An early morning/evening running must have!

This is a great product! I bought this, because running in the Summer Georgia humidity can be treacherous. Because of the demands of my work schedule and the heat, I’m a before daylight runner. The past reflective vest was hot and heavy. I found this one on Amazon and glad I did! It’s a major difference than the other vest. It’s super lightweight, fits snug and doesn’t flop, well lit, and most importantly I’m confident traffic can see me in the dark. I never know its there on my runs. I highly recommend.

Perfect light for walkers

My wife and I have been taking 4+ mile walks at a 14 - 15 minute per mile pace early in the mornings since COVID-19. Since it has been dark in the mornings and some of our streets are a little rough, as well as for safety, the last several weeks I had been carrying one of our bike lights in one of my hands trying to keep it steady. I saw the Avanto light on a jogger one morning and went on Amazon to see if I could find it, and did. After reading other reviews I decided to try it so I could free up both arms while walking. It works great. Battery probably doesn’t last 5 hours on high, but it does last at least three, so that gives me three days use before charging. Also, when walking, even at a fast pace, I don’t get the “ side to side” movement that some runners noted in reviews. The only minor criticism I might have is that they might make the straps a little longer? I’m not skinny, but also not super huge in the chest, and while the straps are elastic and are comfortable on me, if I was much larger they might get a little tight. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend this product.

I really enjoy this product!! I start my runs at 4am and it’s very dark. Before this I used an l.e.d head lamp that felt bulky and was not bright now comparing it to this light. This product is very light and very very bright, also the back has a flashing red light that allows cars and ppl alike to see you from the back and I love that!! . Ppl say that it sways with your body and it does but it’s not the products fault!! It’s buckled to your chest and so if your chest moves when you run, then guess what, the light is going to move!! Its really not a problem at all!! The only thing that concerns me is the battery life which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. So the light has high and low beam and after it’s charged you get 3-6 hours of light depending on how you use it. My concern is the battery is rechargeable but when recharging no longer works aprox 2000 hours later you can’t replace the battery, instead you have to replace the entire belt. Wish the battery had a longer life span than 2000 hours. As of now I am really enjoying this product and recommend it to all those runners like myself that prefers to run outdoors and or walkers, hikers and even campers.
