Overall I like the camera especially for the price. The picture quality is not really 4K, its more a simulated 4K but its serviceable. I have to ding the easy to use simply because it took me several tries to get it to work. I have no idea why really except maybe it doesn't like the latest version of Android and the app stated that it wasn't designed for that. I initially tried to use it with a Pixel 2xl as well as a Samsung Galaxy 9+ and could not get the OKCAM app or the other app to work. I spent an hour with the customer service guys at Runme and while they were helpful to some extent they could not really help me and wanted to send me a new more extensive manual which I never received. I also contacted the seller and while they tried to be helpful their suggestion was to send them a video of the problem. I appreciate the help, but it wasn't an easily feasible solution for me.
I finally got this camera to work with an amazon Fire tablet and I will say that it was easy to set up and worked great. I think the problem lies with having to rely on third party apps that may or may not get updated in a timely manner. This probably works better with the previous version of Android rather than the latest at least for now. Camera wise it's a decent camera and if you want a cheap solution to an action camera then this is for you. If you are looking for a true 4K picture or long battery life you really get what you pay for with this camera. I have seen others talking about 20 minutes for each of the batteries and I can confirm that is about is long as they last. I like all of the included accessories and there are many different options for mounting. The construction is about what you would expect in the price range and other than the problems I had initially it was easy to use.
To me the touch screen was fine, but while you cant use it in the waterproof case which is to be expected, there is however an additional screen that is not waterproof , but you can use the screen.
Overall to me it depends on what you want as to how good this camera is. If you are looking for a dash cam, this wont work if you have a journey longer than 40 minutes you would have to change the battery unless there was some way to hard wire it to your car. If you are looking for a cheap alternative to a go pro which is easy to use and you don't need more than 20 minutes of camera time then this is for you. Had I not have to try 3 devices the easy to use would have been a 5.
