Praise for Sinking Ships: An Abishag's First Mystery
A highly regarded writer of mystery short stories, Knowlden expands into novella length with a fascinating, original concept in Sinking Ships. Hired to marry a rich, comatose man to provide comfort in the manner of King David's wife Abishag, college student Leslie unexpectedly lands in a web of deadly secrets. Because of her sworn duties as an Abishag wife, she must protect her husband even at her own peril. I was hooked right from the start, intrigued by the heroine and caught up in the rapidly intensifying suspense. I strongly recommend what I hope will be the first in a series.

Praise for Jack Fell Down: Missing Children Mysteries Novella #1
Ever since her terrific mystery stories featuring the hypochondriac detective Micky Cardex several years ago, Knowlden has continued to create wonderfully odd-ball heroines whose search for truth is always larger than the immediate mystery they find themselves facing. She's done that again here, giving us a problem that needs to be solved and a character with problems of her own who needs to solve it. Seeing the "#1" in the title makes me very happy, too, and I'll be looking forward to seeing where this series goes.
