I HAD SUCH HIGH HOPES...

Let's start with positives she smells great and I like that her body is dark brown---actually it should have been tan since her face is tan. I purchased this doll because one of the reviews stated she weighed close to 4lbs. More like 1.5lbs I guess I thought the quality would be like I Paradise Galleries (weighted way better than this doll). The accessories are very nice quality. I gave the hat for my niece who's petite and it seems like a perfect fit and the blanket is great for a covering (supervised) since it's short and soft. The velcro will have to be removed since it's abrasive. The velcro is meant to stick on the baby doll's body and it does so well for the perfect swaddle. My sister said this doll is like one of those .99 store dolls. I'm displeased because I paid $43 and that's still too much. I would say the value of this doll is $15 due to her lovely accessories, not for doll quality. Doll arms are not stuffed and legs are partially stuffed. Its hard to find open and close eyes in these modern times. She has a a scrape that is light brownish yellow on her neck somehow. I probably should have opted for the African American but since this was a Warehouse deal and several dollars less I opted for this. I had such high hopes for this doll. This will make only my 2nd ever Adora doll. Lets hope my upcoming Nursery Time doll is better ---which would make 3 Adora dolls vs my 30+ Paradise Galleries dolls.

This doll looked so adorable but unfortunately after undressing it I noticed the quality of the body was horrible so I returned it!! Especially as it was quite expensive!

Baby Hope is my six year old daughter’s new best baby. Our youngest has since purchased the boy baby and our five year old son wanted the twins. We already had six kids, now we have ten? They have ransacked our attic for baby clothes and everything I had previously stored by age and gender is mixed up in a giant pile on the floor. We ordered this doll for my 2 year old for Christmas. It is the most beautiful doll I have ever seen. I couldn’t wait until Christmas, so I opened the package so I could get a closer look at the doll. The baby smelled like fresh powder! The details are beautiful and her weight it perfect! I told my husband that it was so realistic it gave me baby fever! I can’t wait for our little girl to see her on Christmas morning and give her a name so we can fill out her adoption card!

Acheté pour offrir à ma fille. La poupée semble très bien, mais je suis déçue de deux choses. Premièrement, c'est vrai qu'elle sent très fort. Et ça ne sent pas le bébé, mais plus le parfum de vieille madame. Rien à voir avec les poupées Bout'chou ou les Corolle qui, elles, sentent bon. Deuxièmement, la poupée que j'ai reçu a un petit défaut. Sa bouche est comme «usée»; elle a petit trou sur la lèvre (voir photo). Je l'aurais bien échangée, mais il n'y en a plus en stock. Avec tout ça, j'ignore maintenant si je vais retourner la poupée ou si je vais la garder... Pour le prix, c'est décevant.
