Review

Praise for The Keatyn Chronicles:

"With laugh out loud moments and swoon-worthy guys, The Keatyn Chronicles is a fun, sexy, and addictive series that you won't be able to put down and will never want to end." -USA Today Bestselling Author, J. Sterling.

"I'm convinced no one can write hot boys like Jillian Dodd."
-Late Bloomer Online

"Get ready to go back to the days of drama, crushes, wild parties, crazy hookups, and popularity contests."
-Reading, Eating & Dreaming

"Holy hot boys, Batman! This book is what I like to think of as the mecca of gorgeous men. Keatyn's journey from Hollywood debutante to boarding school is fraught with lots of trials but the biggest of those is the boys."
-I Love YA Fiction

"This story should come with a warning...."You will require an ice box or a fan whilst reading."
-Totally Booked

It's a story that's fun and fresh, sexy and steamy. It's dangerously addictive. -Mollie Harper, Tough Critic Book Reviews.

Why do I rush through these books as soon as I get them, KNOWING there is going to be a long wait for the next one?!? Once I start reading about Keats and her boys, I just. can't. stop!!! So, even though I am now left waiting anxiously for book #5 and hate myself for not making THIS one last a little longer, it was SO worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright, now that I got that out of the way let's move on to reviewing. And boy oh boy, are these books getting harder and harder to review. ESPECIALLY this one! I want to say who Keats ends up on the island with SO badly.

But I can't!

I will say this, it was a complete shock to me!

I honestly have yet to pick a "team" at this point. And while I am still on the fence of who I would like to see Keatyn end up with, this book definitely pushed me more in one direction than the other. The moments shared with Keats and her "mystery" boy on the island were sweet and romantic. All totally swoon-worthy and make it VERY hard not to fall for this mysterious guest, no matter what team you are on!

And while this book definitely has some magical moments between Keats and ?, there is a sadness too. She has made a decision about her life once she leaves the island that is not going to be easy. She wants to finally take back her life. But in order for her to do that, she has to make some MAJOR changes.

I am honestly loving the growth I have seen in Keats over the course of this series. And it really shines through in Adore Me. She is thinking how her decisions will impact others and making choices based on that. So, needless to say, I loved every minute of Adore Me! And of course I am now dying of anticipation for the next book in the series! I am eager to see how Keats will move forward with things and what impact those choices will have on who she ends up with.

I just loved this book. I was skeptical to buy it because I like my stories to last but each story pulled me in, and despite the length I felt satisfied but still wanting more. Now I plan on reading the author's other work.

I'm not sure how I really feel about this novels. I know that Jillian wanted to keep with the theme and pick up where everything left off in the previous book, but this one was a little lacking. Keatyn is starting to get annoying with her back and forth ping pong between Brooklyn and Aiden. Keatyn letting Aiden come on the trip annoyed me. Her forgiving Aiden because he "gave her dirt" annoyed me. The fact that she felt it's better for her to leave school and everything she had become accustomed to and where she felt safe to go off and plan some attack on Vincent is beyond me. I think that it's really fitting that Keatyn is only 17 years old. She hasn't grown and while she feels like she's an adult and wants to have an adult relationship, she's not ready. She still plays childish games and she can't open her heart. Aiden is also annoying especially since he thinks he'll be with Keatyn for the rest of his life. Dawson was right when he said he didn't honestly know if he would be with Keatyn forever. They are young and should be thinking about their professional furutre. Things don't always happen the way you think they will. Keatyn of all people should know that.

On the last episode of the Keatyn Chronicles S01E04
LOVE ME
We saw Keatyn leaving Eastbroke to spend Thanksgiving soul searching alone on St Croix. She had decisions to make regarding love, life and regaining her freedom.
The closing scene
FADE IN :Keatyn traveling by car to the airport

A girl deep in thought reaches the airport. A jet is on the tarmac and it's a welcomed sight. Her pending solo journey will be good for her soul. Although she can't help dread the decisions she has to make nor what has brought her to this point.

Keatyn.
Pulls out her wallet to pay the driver and finds a crescent moon. She slowly turns it over and is perplexed by the cryptic message. She reads it out loud.

' WHILE OTHERS MAY WISH ON A SHOOTING STAR, *
IT'S THE MOON
THAT'S HOLDS MY DREAMS
AFAR '
CUE MUSIC:Just one Last Time by David Guetta
FADE OUT:
ROLL CREDITS.

OK so that brings us up to date. Keatyn boarding a plane to ST Croix, 'alone' and soul searching.

It's really hard to go into to much detail without spoiling the Adore Me novella, but what i can say is this.....

* There are unexpected surprises
* Worlds start to collide
* There is sweet sweet romance
* There is smoking HOT moments
* Some dreams that are fulfilled
* There is foreboding of whats to come
* Times of Bliss
* Moments of tears

I loved Adore Me and Keatyn Chronicle fans , regardless of your chosen boy, will be amazed at what Jillian Dodd has given us in this installment of the series.

Keatyn is not the same girl that we knew in Stalk Me and I still don't know which boy will be perfect for her in the end.

Outstanding. Wonderful. Fun. UN-PUT-DOWNABLE. (Yeah, that last one probably isn't a word, but too bad!)

Now for the task of writing a spoiler-free review... it's so unfair because all I want to do is squee, OMG, WTF, and gush with someone --- ANYONE --- else!! If you've read the iTunes sample, I'm sure you're dying to know what's next. I know I was!
A Thanksgiving break novella. Keatyn is going to St. Croix. Alone. What eventful things could happen??
Believe me, I know it sucks that I'm giving nothing away, but in the end you'll be thankful. I found myself feeling a range of emotions over the course of Adore Me. At times, I even teared up which is rare for me. Some were the happy kind. Others were the "OMG that's so sweet" kind. More still were the sad ones. Keatyn. Oh, Keatyn. I love that girl but sometimes I just want to smack her pretty little head and knock some sense into her! I understand what she THINKS she needs to do. I wish she'd realize what we WANT her to do. It would be so much easier on my heart.

I wanted to share some of my highlighted quotes with everyone, but I'm afraid they'll give parts away and I can't do that to Jillian or future readers this early. Just know that Jillian has in no way let anyone down. If anything, she has yet again outdone herself. This book left me craving more. I want to jump inside these books and live in Keatyn's world! Is that too much to ask??

Adore Me was even better than I expected. I find myself repeating myself in every review I do for this series, but I risk it again in order to speak the truth.

ADORE ME IS BY FAR THE BEST BOOK (so far) IN THE KEATYN CHRONICLES SERIES. I flew through it and will DEFINITELY read it again before Hate Me releases.
