Incredible design. Affordable price.
ADC's Adscope stethoscopes are recognized the world over for unrivaled acoustic performance, rugged durability, practitioner comfort, and unsurpassed value. With our Cardiology Series, you get our best of the best.
From its CNC precision-machined, stainless-steel chestpiece and cardiology headset to its AFD technology, the ADC Adscope 600 is engineered to provide outstanding acoustic performance. The bi-lumen (dual channel) headset optimizes the acoustic pathway while our adjustable frequency technology, housed in a compact sculpted design, allows you to tune the diaphragm to enhance both high- and low-frequency response.
The ergonomic cardiology headset wears easily, with our Adsoft Plus silicone eartips providing the ultimate in practitioner comfort and acoustic seal. The non-chill diaphragm retaining rim ensures patient comfort.
Our Cardiology Series features an all stainless-steel construction (tactical finish has black anodized aluminum binaurals), ensuring a lifetime of use. The double-leaf tensioning spring withstands thousands of cycles, and the cardiology headset, made with heavy-walled tubing and large-diameter aural tubes, offers unmatched acoustics and durability. Every part of the Adscope 600 is designed to withstand the pressures of daily use.
ADC’s lifetime warranty ensures you get the most from your investment. You can order free 'consumables', including diaphragms and eartips, for any registered Adscope 600. And if your scope ever needs more extensive service, simply return it to us for a complimentary refurbishment.

Overengineered, Not Overpriced
All ADC products are manufactured from the finest materials with an uncompromising commitment to craftsmanship and durability. Compare the quality and performance – and, most important, the value – and you’ll discover the ADC Advantage.
The ADC Adscope 600 Cardiology Stethoscope with AFD Technology combines the acoustic response of a traditional bell and diaphragm in a convenient one-sided chestpiece. Use light pressure for low, bell-type frequencies, and firm pressure for high, diaphragm-type frequencies. Featuring a bi-lumen (dual channel) headset design for improved stereo separation, the Adscope 600 offers outstanding performance, comfort, and durability. Your Adscope 600 comes with a scope ID tag and two additional pairs of Adsoft Plus eartips in a convenient storage case. Select from three metal finishes – stainless, tactical, or titanium gold plated – and up to nine tubing colors, depending on the finish.

The only thing that I would say to someone looking to purchase this stethoscope is look at its length and consider how you carry your scope around. If you are one who puts is around the back of your neck this may not be long enough for you or it may be a bit to thick for your liking. Personally I keep mine with the ear buds around my neck and the scope part in my scrub pocket so its quickly accessible when needed and this way I know it wont fall off or pull my hair.
As to its function I have nothing but good things to say about this. It is easy to clean, the ear buds come off to do a deep clean now and then but they have never fallen off or unscrewed on their own as some others have issues with. The buds themselves are soft enough to be comfortable in the ear but firm enough to allow noise cancellation and allow you to focus on what you are listening for.
However, as I was doing my research on the Littmann MC I began to find more and more people mentioning and recommending this Adscope Cardiology stethoscope over the Littmann MC. These weren't just average users either, these were cardiologists, cardiology nurses, ICU nurses, and other such qualified people. So I decided to look into it. All I can say is that I am extremely glad I did. I will not repeat their reviews here, you can read them yourself if you would like.
Right out of the box, this scope was amazing. The audio quality and volume is astounding. The very first time I tried it out, I was amazed. Mind you, I am not coming from a poor stethoscope either. My previous scope was an original HP Sprague, one of the best of it's kind. For those of you who know your scopes, you know what I'm talking about. But this new scope, simply blew me away. The sheer volume of what I was hearing was incredible. The binaurals are sturdy and the spring is tight. The earpieces are very comfortable. I switched to the larger set that came with the scope as I prefer to have all background noise blocked out when I'm auscultating. I literally can't hear a thing outside of the scope when I am wearing it.
The head is heavy, like most cardiology scopes. I find it slipping down towards the direction of the head when I wear it around my neck. The tube is thicker than the Littmann, but that's no big deal. The tube does, however, have a seemingly permanent bend that matches the way it came in the box. This is somewhat annoying as it tends to only like to lie one way around my neck. As far as the bend causing issues when using the scope, none to worry about.
As of this review, I have used the scope on approximately 60+ pediatric assessments and 20+ adult assessments. I didn't necessarily purchase this scope for pediatric assessments, it just happened to work out that way with my current rotations. These assessments went from very sick kids, to infants, to adults with a-fib. The scope performed flawlessly. In fact, my compadres keep borrowing it from me to listen to their own patients (they all have Littmanns, but not cardiology scopes).
To top it all off, let's face it, the all black design is sexy! And with a name like, "The Ninja" how can you go wrong? Ha! The color looks awesome. I have noticed a very small spot on one of the edges of the head where it looks like the black is wearing off. I'm not too happy about that. But, I can live with it.
This is one amazing scope. I paid half the price of the Littmann MC and I feel like I get better performance. Of course, it's mine so my opinion may be a little biased, but in any case, the performance is AT LEAST as good as the Littmann Master Cardiology and, it's half the price. Buy one! You won't regret it.
On a side note, the little name tag thing that comes with this scope is junk. It's cheap plastic and doesn't really fit. Throw it out and find some other way to make it yours.
Lately I've been in more critical areas of the ER, and was seriously considering getting the Cardiology III LIttmann, but didn't want to spend that much. After researching I decided on the ADSCOPE 600, been using it several days, easily to hear heart sounds through clothing, I've been impressed. To me and my ears, I cannot hear or detect any significant differences between the Littmann and the 600. Only downside is its heavier then what I have traditionally used. For me, saving more or less half the price was a no brainer and would do it again.
