The drawings of the animals were cute, and intricate but not too much so. I have a touch of achy hands and carpal tunnel so anything too small would be difficult for me. I found this to be one designed for adults, but I really wouldn’t mind sharing with the kiddos I interact with. I did receive a good deal on this product so I would write a review on it. Adding this kind of thing to my night time routine helps make for a much more relaxed entrance to sleep and results in less tossing and turning. I highly recommend trying it.
I will say that I was slightly bummed that there were multiple copies of each picture since I like to color different pictures. To me it does show that they were thinking of those that might like to color the same picture differently or something like that. I feel like this is a definite buy for those that love to color and like the "mandala" style with lots of shapes. I feel like the price is a little bit high, but I have seen some books that are lower quality for higher price so it is up to each person to decide if it is too expensive. I will just say that I doubt many people would be disappointed with buying this book.
Disclaimer: I received this item for a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I take my reviews seriously and do my best to share my personal experience, observations, and opinions so that others might make an informed decision before buying.
Also this is 1 book with doubles of each picture. The free pdf of the book is easily accessible but...... it prints out the copies the same way- with gray vs black. That might be tweakable- I just wasn't messing with it anymore at that point.
The paper quality is average. It is typical of most coloring books. It is not exceptionally thin nor thick. One interesting thing to note is that each page is completely black on the back to limit bleed through. Speaking if which, I would definitely use a bleeder page or two when using markers or fine liners.
I should mention that each image is reproduced twice in the book. Some people may not like that, but I do. It means I can do an image two different ways. Also, the book is pretty thick so it's not like it is just a few images.
Overall all I really like this book. I received this book at a discount in exchange for my honest opinion. This did not alter my opinion in any way. I hope that this review will help someone decide if this book is right for them.
I purchased this book at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. It is well worth purchasing at full price.
