I'm 5 foot 8 and 150 lbs and got a medium and it's a little big but I expected it. The size chart is about on point. The robe and pants are a little thin but not bad. You can't see through it but can see light though it the shirt part is great as far as it's think and comfortable. It comes in pieces that I will have to sew on. The two pieces to the belt (white part and then the brown leather). The pieces that go over the shoulder as you can see in the pic it just falls off when you move. But again for the price I am more than happy with it. It's way better then like a Halloween costume from the store. That being said I'm giving it a 4 star just because I'm going to have to sew the shirt together. The robe and pants being a little thin isn't a bad thing again great for the price

The narrow brown strips at the neckline are a poor substitute for the "inner tunic" that is supposed to be part of the costume. (There is NO short sleeve tunic that is mentioned in other reviews.) These strips are hard to keep in place - I'll use velcro on them, as I will on the tunic to help it remain closed. I'll also attach the long shoulder pieces with safety pins to keep them even front and back and from sliding off while he dresses. Quite a bit of adjustment for an expensive costume!
On the plus side, the material is lightweight, which is good for wearing in variable weather. I don't know how one reviewer found the pants to be like dress pants - not at all!! They are a thin material with a linen feel. The vinyl belt with metal ornament is a plus, although we have no idea what the little pouch is meant to be. After you get all the pieces together, however, the costume looks authentic and is comfortable, so my son is pleased with this purchase.

Because my adult son is tall, he could not wear the small, but because he is thin, the medium is too wide for him (especially the pants). Fortunately, the pants have belt loops, so he just added his own belt underneath it all. But I had to add extra velcro on the two outer belts so they would fasten properly and stay on.Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2022
