Have read so many books on this subject -a subject I was sure I would never experience as my Husband I believed was in that small percentage who would never stray-the lies he told to cover up when I found the first piece of evidence were so epically rediculous that the lies made me angrier then the actual act. This book was not only so insightful but it was humurous as well and the references to Women who lived this made me feel less alone-like I was now part of a secret club that I wish I didn't have the qualifications to join.It helped me realize that while my Husband pulled the rug out from under me and nearly destroyed our Family,it was not about me-it was his own selfishness and stupidity and I should stop carrying this burden on my back every day/wish I had found this book 2 years ago-it's at the top of my list out of all the books I blazed through trying to understand,"Why Me?"

CJ writes about a painful topic with great insight and humor. Not sure how she did it. Well done!

Adulterer's Wife is like that great song that your best friend just wrote that you know instantly will be a classic. I can't understand how it is that this book was so recently written, given the great number of us women that have had to struggle with cheating partners, whether for ourselves, our friends, or both. But it was worth the wait. IF you have the guts to open it you'll have trouble putting it down. It's real. It's hysterically funny. It's wise. It's among the tiny percentage of self help books that are truly helpful. BUY IT! AND READ IT!!!

Despite not being an adulterer's wife - I'm a single guy - I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's well-written, blunt, funny and straight from the heart. I think it will really help the many women out there who have unfaithful partners. It would also be useful for men whose wives are cheating.

Adulterer's Wife strips away any inhibition one may have to steer clear of revealing our true self. Our true nature. Our true feelings. It sucks you in. Male. Female. Mistress. Wife. Husband. Philanderer. Wounded hearts. It makes you laugh out loud, cringe, cry and finally, feel normal no matter which path you have chosen. The cartoons make it a 5 star plus!! Enjoy!

Just about everyone knows someone who has been hurt by infidelity, and the author has done an outstanding job of setting out the pros and cons of the various courses of action open to those who have been deceived. The preservation of dignity is a common theme, as it should be in my view, because without dignity what is one left with? Betrayal of trust is an ugly act, hence the equally ugly emotions that discovery of betrayal inevitably evokes. But giving in to impulses for revenge is likely to result in a loss of self-esteem, at a time when that is the very thing one needs the most. So for anyone in the throes of such pain this book is a must-read. And for any such person who cannot summon the motivation to read it, who is feeling overwhelmed with shock and hurt, perhaps a friend could do the honours and summarise and guide accordingly, as it is packed with common sense and wise guidance.

Some of the pages had corners that had been turned back and the book was shabby
