“Now that I've read Finals, I've had a glimpse of the inventiveness and extremism of which he's capable. I hope the writer has a chance to bring us something just as zany and challenging in the near future.” ―Don MacPherson, Eye on Comics on Finals
“Will Pfeifer routinely turns in some of the sharpest scripts in comics.... Assuming that you like things that are totally awesome, I doubt you'll regret it.” ―Chris's Invincible Super-Blog on Catwoman

The artwork, though, sketchy at times, is an excellent fit for comics veteran Pfeifer's story.
Overall, if you like comics and aliens, pick this one up.
"The ADVANCE Team" is a well-written, nicely illustrated (black and white work here) and surprisingly quirky alien-invasion story. There are a few twists and turns on the way. You suspect, but aren't quite sure what's going on here until the very end. Pfeifer delivers a fast-paced and entertaining story with some suspense thrown into the mix.
Fell short of five stars because although the artwork is great, it is also uneven. Some art is near great, other parts appear a little spare and rushed. Also, given the tone of the artwork and story line, there were one or two scenes that came off as jarringly violent. Still, I gotta admit, the sudden, over-the-top and out-of-place scene or two of violence, gave me a little thrill.
Overall, it's fun and worth reading.
