After the advice of friends and neighbors, Wyatt Flynn mails a petition for a mail order bride. Still not convinced needing a wife, Wyatt is rude to Millie when she finally arrives.
The grief stricken father could not help but to give in to Millie's outgoing and fiery personality. Millie cared for his children as her own, winning Wyatt and the children over while trying to ease their heart ache.
Loved the story from beginning to end. Sweet and emotional interaction between the adults and the children. It really captivates you, wanting to know what will happen next.
Narration by Charles D. Baker was once again magnificent. I enjoyed the clean voice, the tones, the emotions in the characters. He makes the stories and characters come alive. ♡

Wyatt Flynn lost the love of his life, his wife Anna Mae. The grief stricken father of three children worked long hours on his farm in Montana but fell apart after Anna Mae’s death. Friends worried that Wyatt would lose his farm and possibly die. They advised Wyatt to get a mail order bride. Wyatt was not convinced he needed another wife but he wrote to an agency anyway. When Millie arrived, Wyatt was downright rude to her. Most women would have turned around and left. Millie stayed and won Wyatt and the children over. I disliked Wyatt throughout much of the book and felt Millie was a saint to stay. I continued to read this story because I loved Millie and her creative ways of solving problems. The petite Millie with her outgoing personality reminded me of the Unsinkable Molly Brown character. It was not revealed until the end of the story why Wyatt behaved as he did. I plan to read the other books in this series.
