About the Author
Maggie Minor is an author, sculptor and designer. Her work sells throughout the US. Not satisfied with the status quo in her North Carolina hometown, she left home at the age of 20 to travel the world. Her adventurous nature took her to Bulgaria as a Peace Corps volunteer, Australia as a graduate student, and East Africa and Asia as a humanitarian worker. Fascinated by people and the unknown, Maggie befriended people from all walks of life and immersed herself in local cultures. Maggie has a Bachelor of Art in history and art history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of International Studies from the University of Sydney. In the fall of 1998, she spent a life changing semester spent at the University of East Anglia's Sainsbury Institute of Art in England.
