About the Author
Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, celebrated under his pseudonym Lewis Carroll, was born in 1832, the third in a large and talented family of eleven children. His fascination with word games, puzzles and writing was evident from an early age. He was educated at Rugby School and then Christ Church, Oxford, where he was later appointed lecturer in mathematics and subsequently spent the rest of his life there. Alongside his academic life he pursued a career both as a writer and an accomplished amateur photographer. His most famous works are Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (1865), its sequel Through the Looking Glass and What Alice Found There (1871) and The Hunting of the Snark (1876). He died, unmarried, in 1898.

Furthermore, considering it contains both books, plus the excellent Hunting of the Snark, it is a fantastic price.
However, there are still some glaring mistakes, such as some formatting bugs in a few of the poems and spelling errors in places (such as at the start of Looking Glass, where some of the Ls are replaced with 1s - I guess a scanner did the 'writing here').
5 stars for the great price and superior formatting over the other options. -1 star for the glaring lack of proof reading from the publisher.
This was an E book purchase, and one of the best I have made. I was pleasantly surprised with how well this was formatted. I am a huge fan of the Alice in Wonderland collection, and this set is complete with all four books. I was thrilled that Alice Underground (the original manuscript) was included. The classic illustrations only add more charm to what has been an endearing classic for years. I would absolutely love to have this set in hardback.
So on our anniversary I looked and looked. I found it here! I couldn't have been more happy about my purchase, and my girlfriend was absolutely overwhelmingly ecstatic and loves it. Amazing in every way
This one is so good: the wrap around illustrations almost evoke illuminated manuscripts.
